Black Aoud by Montale

Funny, this reminds me a hospital and while you are sitting in the waiting room you get a whiff of perfume from a bypassing nurse.

The aoud in the beginning is pretty strong and in combination with the rose I get a little bit the smell of some wine (but it isn't). Almost gets me nauseating (I can't stand wine) but then it turns my mind back to that nurse. After 10-20 minutes when the aoud goes from screaming to whispering I get this flower (80% rose) smell which reminds me of some potpourri my grandparents had about 15 years ago. Only this one smells much richer.

For woman 40+ or as a room refresher (smells much better then Febreze). I don't see the unisex in this, yet...

It is very good but I am not gonna wear it (25, male, casual).

Fahrenheit 32 by Christian Dior

It is white, it is flowery, it is a little bit sweet and a little bit feminine. I do not know Fleur Du Male (only from reviews), but if someone would say to me that this scent is it, I would believe it (both white bottles (and white commercials), both flowers, both a little bit feminine) - it fits the image.

I do not really like it that much, but for really warm weather it might work refreshing when you are planning to do nothing besides hanging around the house. Other then that I might use my bottle as a room refresher.

It is not bad at all, but it is too soft/clean and that makes it (to me at least) boring.

Terre d'Hermès by Hermès

Hmm, I like this scent very much, but I have hard times wearing it. It smells delicious, but I can not put a finger on that one note that keeps me sniffing my skin for hours. Somehow it smells like some sweet candy which I never smelled before, and I want to taste it, but I cant. That is what I am going through while wearing this scent.. Over and over again. And I'm talking about the dry-down, not the opening notes. And I've experienced the candy smell of many other scents (Lolita, Rochas, B*Men etc.), but this one is different.

And it is really beautiful how the sharp orange mutates into a very soft masculine earthy dry-down with that weird candy smell. I think it does not smell sweet, but there is definitely some candy.

Silage is pretty good for the first hour, I received some compliments which I do not often get for any scent, but the longevity on my skin is 4 to 5 hours, not that amazing. But I was wondering, maybe cause all of my sniffing I'm sniffing it off my skin! That is something to think about. I think I just have to spray a little more on me next time (did 2 sprays in the neck and 1 pray on each arm).

Anyway, the scent is getting 5 stars from me, but for longevity I think I only give it 3 stars for now. But it is definitely a thumbs up!

Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin by Lolita Lempicka

The perfect scent for clubbing. But please don't drown yourself in this beautiful little miracle, it is very strong (in a good way).

It starts of pretty sweet and strong (liquorice) with Absinthe and Aniseed. They once asked me what I was drinking, they said I smelled like booze, it was 5 minutes after spraying LLAM.

After 15 - 30 minutes it translates into a more softer, almost feminine smell (I think that is were the Violet comes in to play with the Praline). But be patient, the most beautiful part has still to come.

Then the Vanilla and Aniseed meet, in a pretty silence way. It is not loud, but it is strong, sweet and very sexy. And it lasts forever. 1 spritz in the neck, and one on each arm, and I can go for > 24h. If I spray some more, I can take a shower the next day and still smell LLAM on my skin.

You can get female attention with this frag easily (18 - 28), but don't over-spray, it will get you negative attention. My no. 1 scent for clubbing. For other events I think this frag is a little too sweet and liquorice.

DKNY Red Delicious Men by Donna Karan

Instant headache poison. I liked the idea of apples. I love apples (I eat at least 2 a day - it keeps the dentist away). But this fluid smells too synthetic and doesn't actually do a thing for me. It is not classy, it is not sexy, it is not the way I think apples smell and definitely not the way I want to smell. I choose this over the normal (green) Be Delicious Men because that one was too sour (for what I can recall). On paper it smelled pretty much OK.

The bottle fits the idea perfect, but the spritzer is a little hard to handle. It also does not spray very generously (which in my case is a good thing!)

The silage is IMO pretty weak and for longevity, it is gone within an hour after spraying (on my arm). Thumbs down for this one, but I totally understand the people who like it. So try before you buy!
