Green Irish Tweed by Creed
I just can't get into GIT...I keep trying and it starts out nice enough and promising. But then it starts to overwhelm and I feel like I'm enveloped in some kind of industrial sanitizer or deodorant. It's definitely a quality scent and has staying power, but I just don't like the scent. Original Vetiver, SMW, MI and Tabarome Millesime are working much better for me. Bummer.

Aqua Motu / Motu by Comptoir Sud Pacifique
Basically a nice summer scent, very fun and fresh. It does remind me of tropical beaches and vacation. But, there's a plastic pool toy note that keeps me from buying and wearing it. And I can definitely see how it could give some folks a headache.

Bulgari pour Homme by Bulgari
I love this scent. Quality, classy, fresh and just great to wear. But, doesn't last at all...or if it's there, I can't smell it enough to enjoy it. Though I can pick up occasional mild hints of it now and then, I wish it was more present throughout the day. Reapplying doesn't help. The Extreme version is like a cheap knock off, not at all the same stuff to me.

Banana Republic Classic by Banana Republic
Classic scent from my post-college days. Nice scent but has a sour citrus note on me so I never wear it much.

Mugler Cologne by Thierry Mugler
I tried TM after having bought Creed's OV. I agree that TM and OV are similiar. But to me, OV is much fresher, bolder, and pronounced...but not in a loud way. TM also has an odd sour note to me (could just be the samples I have). OV has a depth and fruity freshness to it that makes it much more fun and interesting than TM has come across to me. Guerlain's Vetiver is the best overall blatant vetiver of the three, and I alternate between it and OV depending on the kind of spice I'm in the mood for.

Imperial Jade Emperor by Agatha Brown
I read something that quoted thas a Poison for men...definitely! I knew a girl in high school who wore Poison...you could smell it on your clothes two days later. It announced her enterance into a room and permeated the air for hours afterwards. While Imperial Jade Emporer isn't that pervasive, it is sweet, rich and fun. I can't wait to try it, on vacation, in the humidity of the Carribean someday.

Kouros by Yves Saint Laurent
I am anxiously awaiting the day that my nose matures and makes me eat my words...until then....whew, no way.

Original Vetiver by Creed
Most excellent summer scent. I bought a bottle last week and have been enjoying my new found friend, vetiver. Guerlain's is quite nice as well.
Today I spent the day working outside, building a cedar picinc table. OV is a great compliment to woodworking with cedar and summer sweat under a canopy of maple trees.
OV goes from a modest blast of vetiver to ginger sweetness, refreshing and mildly grassy, then alternates back and forth between vetiver and sweetness during the drydown. Add some Bulgari Pour Homme as an aftershave and you're set.

Silver Mountain Water by Creed
Yummy stuff! I'm totally new to this site and scents in general. From reviews here I've started trying all sorts of different fragrances and this so far is my favorite. I tried GIT today and SMW is like GIT with more edge and a lot more going on. Classy, ethereal and fresh.
