L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Intense by Issey Miyake

Intense is a hard frag. To be used in cold.
Though there a lot of things put in it (mandarin, bergamot, orange, nutmeg, lotus, cinnamon, cardamom, amber, papyrus) , it stays the same from first to last inhale. For me it is synthetic and not "natural" at all, but that does not worry me. On the contrary I Iike it a lot. It's harmonic and vibrant, but I hate it when I cannot decipher the particularity of the mix.
And maybe they should think about changing the shape / vision of the bottles as well, not only the colour
Final word, very good winter smell.

Pi by Givenchy

An extraordinary fragrance. A pompous bottle. Magic is not that expensive and what this frag does to me is pure magic.
The beginning is so in-my face blow of grass and flowers. Basil !! Beautiful. And there is terragon to make me even more amused.
The citrus note composes a bittersweet tension that a few minutes later culminates in a sugary almond and vanilla please-suck-me finale. This is what erotica, magic and a fragrance can do and PI is sooo hard to beat when it comes down to pure pleasures. In my personal perfume book PI is only the second (out of thirty so far) with A*Men the other, being five-starred.

Marc Jacobs for Men by Marc Jacobs

For me this one does not have an identity. It is not unique, nor special. The fig gives the fragrance a fresh (though synthetic) touch, there is coconut which makes it sweet ( and i like sweet scents), but it is weak and my skin inhales it entirely. On me MJFM does not last long - maybe an hour. Neutral.

Chic for Men by Carolina Herrera

This goes straight into my top list of favourite sweet fragrances (along angel, lolita lempicka au masculine and rochas man). Fruit and spice are combined delicately , while the lasting is more than satisfactory. The bottle is so chic that sometimes i find myself looking at it for minutes !!!!

Loewe para Hombre by Loewe

Loewe pour Homme starts great. I sense the smell of old , but it is pleasant , not disturbing. And this same start is similar to Esencia's . And from here things go wrong. Where Esencia develops into a charismatic tell-apart-which-note-dominates-now killer, Loewe PH remains lemony. At least on my skin I imagine I resemble a lemon tree - this shold have been called Pour Lemon feel-likes, not Homme. Sometimes when i dive too deep i also imagine i smell the patchouli and the vetiver (which i always adore) , but then again the sweet lemon kills them all . It is a good fragrance , but Esencia is years ahead when it comes to harmony in the mixture.
