Carlos Santana for Women by Carlos Santana

I absolutely love this fragrance. The neroli flower and cocolate notes are what I enjoy the most. It doesn't seem to have good staying power on me though.

Chance by Chanel

I tried Chance at the fragrance counter after reading rave reviews about it. I found it to be rough, edgy, and "in my nose". It immediately made me sneeze. On the drydown, it did not seem to lose its sharpness. To me, it's nothing like the wonderful Coco Mlle.

Ralph Rocks by Ralph Lauren

This was a disappointing blind purchase. The passionfruit assaulted my nose so much that I couldn't smell anything else tropical about it. I gave it to my sister-in-law, who loves it.

Magnetism by Escada

This is one perfume that I know of that smells fantastic on some people, but annoying on others. On me, the scent is sweet, but not overly so. It is a very green scent on me, and the greens last all day. I don't find this scent to be as sexy as it is fun. Personally, I love it.

Princess by Vera Wang

Vera Wang Princess starts sweet and refreshing on me, but not too sweet (I usually find Pink Sugar to be nauseatingly sweet). On the drydown, it develops deep chocolate notes on me that last all day. It remains somewhat sweet and creamy, without smelling too "immature". I love it.

Euphoria by Calvin Klein

After sampling Euphoria at a fragrance counter, I just had to have it. Although it smells somewhat synthetic, it smells sexy and fun.The scent stays true on me for hours. I don't wear it as often as I used to because I've been experimenting with others, but I still like it very much. I'm a teacher, and several of my students wear it. I like to smell unique, so Euphoria spends too much time on the shelf :-(

Marc Jacobs by Marc Jacobs

I detect no musk in this fragrance. Like the other reviewers, I only detect the gardenia and honeysuckle. Sometimes, I adore the scent of honeysuckle, and sometimes it is headache-inducing. I tried to wear it today for example, and had to scrub it off after about 20 minutes. I found this to be disheartening, as I liked it so much the last time I wore it (about a month ago)... sigh.
