Am I really the only one who's missing the chocolate/vanilla element of Angel ? For me it just smells floral, and not in a good way either

I really don't get Coco. I only wear it when I have to attend board meetings and I am surrounded by distinguished folks of a certain age who may appreciate it. It is undeniably classy but too powdery for my taste. For me it's too "bon chic, bon genre" like the French say, the epitome of boring respectability.

I came across this perfume by accident in Exeter, I was walking in the street and I caught a whiff of this perfume. At the traffic lights, I asked the woman who wore it (never done this before, by the way) and she said Vanilla from the Body Shop, and I went straight to get it from the shop. It's very warm and comforting and I keep buying it. The Body Shop intended to withdraw it at some point but it got so many complaints from customers that it had to keep the range.

J'ai Ose was the first proper perfume I bought 20 years ago. For me it's a nearly masculine scent, very woody and assertive, for those days when I am happy to stand out and make a statement
