I agree with all of the other reviews. It IS a unixex fragrance which makes it all the more amazing. Lucky Scent and Beauty Habit carry it and you might want to try a sample before purchasing the real deal. I love it and it's sure worth a sample.

This is that rare Men's scent that is simple, clean, fresh, but LONG LASTING and will stay with you all day.It's the "ultimate light" in that it's not overpowering...but it's always there with it's step out of shower freshness. If you like fresh scents that are very unique and last...then this is worth a try.

I agree with Isaac's review below, completely. This is a terrific scent. If you like ginger and amber with warm spices, included, then you'll really enjoy this wonderful parfume.

I Have just recently tried Kremlin and I'm loving it! It is a Spicy Oriental. It is warm, fresh, spicy, and long lasting. It's very hard to find in US but it's well worth trying if you can locate it. This is a good one! Below are the notes in Kremlin

Kisu is now called AKI by Tann Rokka. To me, it is one of the finest scents I've ever worn. It's become a favorite of mine, instantly. Others have described it well...it just takes "warm and wonderful" to the highest of levels. It IS very expensive...but a little goes a long way and it has wonderful staying power. For a parfum lover...this is a must try...and for me a must have.

It's not that this is a bad, new cologne...there's just nothing much to it. And it has almost NO lasting power. It is a fresh, woody, marine scent...but then what isn't! It just doesn't stand out as unique or different.

I agree with the review below that says "this fragrance is not as original as Presence". But...that said...I really enjoyed it. It is spicy and sweet and perfect for the summer.I've become a big fan of Mont Blanc and this is another good addition to this line of fragrance. Joshaugustt

This was a very operpowering scent, for me. All of the individual ingredients, I like. But together, this is a very musky, heavy unpleasant scent. I'd skip this one. Joshaugustt

This is one of the very best of the Lancetti Line, for men. Unfortunately, it's been cancelled. But you can still find it on line now and again. This is a wonderful woody, tabacco, warm fragrance that has great staying power and is never overwhelming. This one is worth a try. Joshaugustt

I agree with both the listed reviews. This is a very fresh, woody, and classy fragrance that's not too strong and yet has its own uniqueness. I've also tried the a/shave and the spray deodorant and the scent is even better when wearing all three. This is a good one. Joshaugustt

This one is new to me and I like it. I think all of the reviews have got it right...and each review adds something different. Fever is a very good, new fragrance by Celine. It is a solid warm and spicy scent that has very nice staying power. This seems a real step up from the last Celine for men. It's very well packaged and just may be another big seller for the company. It's definitely worth a try. Joshaugustt

This ain't no Friend of mine. I bought both the EDT and the After Shave and I've tried them both on three separate occasions. I don't know the make up of this scent, but there's SOMETHING in here, that I find almost revolting. I like their other colognes, but this is a rare thumbs down for me. There's nothing really wrong with this new scent from Ungaro...but it's hardly strong enough to make it out the door. Maybe they'll come out with an Apparition Homme Intense, and that might just be a thumbs up. For Ungaro, who's known for solid, distinctive, long lasting fragrances...this seems to be a modern step backward. Joshaugustt

This is a great scent. If you love Havana...you'll probably love Havana Reserva. It's just a toned down version of the original. It took awhile for me to appreciate it, but now, I only use Reserva rather than the original Havana. Too bad it's been cancelled. Grab it if you can. Joshaugustt

Instinct is a very classy, new scent from COTY! It starts of with a burst of freshness and then warms up and keeps warming. It has fairly good staying power and it doesn't smell like every other new scent. The spray deodorant is also wonderful. This one is worth a try. Joshaugustt

This Witness is a sleeper. And it's easy to forget just how GOOD it is. It has a very, very warm and fresh quality to it and has excellent staying power. It's discontinued, but it's still available on line. It's worth a try. Joshaugustt

This is a wonderful and hard to find cologne. It's a great woody, warm scent...Not too loud and not too soft...Just right. It's nothing like quorum (review below). And it's still listed on e bay every now and then. Try it...You'll like it.

Woody and strong...But great! It's very hard to find...Not expensive...Just hard to find. But a woody cologne of great quality, warmth, and staying power. Worth a try if you can find it.

This is without a doubt...The king of the woody fragrances. It was an instant classic in it's day. And you can find it on ebay, once in a while. But it's very expensive and rare. That said...It's simply the best woody fragrance ever made...Hence the name...Woodhue.

This is the very best vanilla-- and it's worn by both men and women. It's been considered "hot" by the hollywood crowd, led by jack nicholson, who wears it...For a long time. They all discovered it in cannes, one year during the festival. Now, this is a very rich vanilla. So, if you don't like vanilla...Forget it. But if you want the best vanilla scent, this is it. You can use it as is...Or selectively add a couple sprays to one of your favorite scents. It's amazing what it will do. Try it...You might enjoy it.

if you like a solid, no nonsense, woody, warm scent, then this will fit the bill. It's not the usual water downed citrus scent, with lots of "warm" ingredients. It's a clean, strong, and solid new scent from aigner that may soon become a real "find". Try this...You may like it.

I agree with the comments below. Tamerisk is a very good fragrance. It's warm, woody, and mellow. If you try EBAY Fragrance Men...and just type in Tamerisk...there is usually a listing or two, daily...for Tamerisk. JA

This could be titled Boss Weak Soul! It does have a nice, warm scent, but it's NOT a unique one. And...it just doesn't have any staying power. I'd suggest trying a sample before purchasing this one. It just misses being a really good, new fragrance. J.A. USA

This may be a very old fragrance...but the fact that it's still around, made me curious. It's a wonderful, original scent. It's not an oceanic type non scent cologne. This is a very warm, masculine, and classy fragrance. And you'll be the only one wearing it. The After Shave is also very, very good. Try this one...you just may like it.

I agree with the previous review. It's light, sporty, but then so are hundreds of other scents. I was disappointed that Chanel didn't take a great scent like Allure and make the "SPORT" version, really unique and distinctive.They didn't. 6-13-04

A GREAT Cologne. I'm only sorry I just discovered it...and it's impossible to find. It's one of the BEST spicy/warm fragrances I've ever worn. It's very very classy...not at all overpowering, but it has wonderful staying power. If you get a chance to even sample this one...try it. 06-05-04

FUTROS is a wonderful, fresh, warm fragrance. I found one on Ebay and loved it. And then was lucky enough to find someone selling over a dozen brand new bottles. I totally agree with RUSLAN (I usually do). This is the BEST of the Chevignon scents. It's still available on a few sites and it's well worth trying. It's a wonderful, spicy, fresh, warm scent with staying power.

I totally agree with the last TWO men. I love this great scent, but hate that I discovered it, much too late. I've managed to purchase a small cache of Boss Sport EDT,After Shave, and Spray Deo. But this would have been one of my favorite scents that I would have purchased forever. It's unique, fresh, warm, and has great staying power. If you can pick up either the EDT or the A/S...it's well worth it. This is a GREAT Cologne!5-30-04

This is another Fragrance that's made "new" by adding the word "Silver" to it's name. It you liked the original Romance...stick with IT. You can hardly tell the difference between this and the Original Romance...and the Original has the "back up" Shower Gel, After Shave, Deodorants etc. 5-25-04

John Varvatos is a VERY ORIGINAL new fragrance. It's very masculine, rich, warm, and unique. There's also a clean, freshness...as it drys down. This will be a very popular new scent. The Shower Gel, Deodorant, and the After Shave Balm are also teriffic. This is worth a try. 5-24-04

I was not a fan of Crush and tried this because it was supposed to be richer and deeper. It's not. It smells exactly like the original, Crush. So, if you like the Original...you'll like this as well. It smells like dozens of other bland scents currently on the market. Save your money. 5-24-04

This is a lame effort for Lacoste. It's a light, airy, nothing scent. It's not in the least distinctive. It IS a light/summer fragrance...but it's sure not going to "light up your life". 5-23-04

I don't get it! I thought Cool Water Deep, was supposed to be warmer and richer than the original. They ought to call this Cool Water Shallow. If you like Cool Water...I guess you'll like this, too. But it's a bit of a rip off. 5-23-04

This is another GREAT Jil Sander Scent. And like all of her great fragrances...it's discontinued(her average scents are available.)I found a couple bottles of this on ebay and it's AMAZING. For those who know FEELING MAN by Sander...Sander Man Pure is VERY similar...almost identical. The only difference seems to be,it's not quite as heavy as Feeling Man, and the dry down is a bit sweeter. However, it has great staying power. Tristano is a real FIND! I just tried it and it's great. It's been kept a real secret. If you like a fresh, warm, woody scent...then you'll love this one. Thanks to BASENOTES and the guys on this page...I TRIED Tailoring and LOVED IT. I happened upon it on E Bay. I completely agree with all of the reviews on this page. It is surprisingly concentrated and a few drops go a long way. It's a very fresh, warm scent that has amazing staying power. Clinique has never been this good before...or since. Hero, like Matchabelli Cologne, is a wonderful scent. It's odd that one company created two great scents for men and then discontinued them both. Hero is a warm, fresh, oriental scent. The second you smell it...you'll "get" that's it's great. Hero..like Matchabelli is often available on E Bay. I've purchased several bottles of both fragrances on E Bay. It's definitely worth a try. CerrutiSi is a very nice, if subtle, new scent from Cerruti. It's subtle in the same way Burberry Touch is subtle. It has a very fresh and clean scent that's made distinctive, by the warmer notes in the dry down. It will make a very nice summer scent. It't worth a try. Josh Augustt 4-16-04 USA

This is a GREAT scent!!! And it's a very hard one to describe. It IS soft and green, and a little sweet...but it still has body and surprising staying power...yet NEVER overpowering. If you like a fresh, clean, slightly sweet scent...then Revillion is the Scent for you. It IS hard to find. I've also used the After Shave and the spray deodorant...but those, too, are very hard to find. This is one of my favorites. It's definitely worth a try.

Force Majeure is a very over looked fragrance. It's a very fresh, warm, and modern scent. It wears well and you'll be the only one wearing it. It's a very classy scent, fairly priced, and it's definitely worth a try. The after shave and spray deodorant, are also great.

Monogram is a GREAT fragrance. I have NO idea what scent notes are in this fragrance. But it's a scent that sneaks up on you. It's light, masculine, fresh, and warm...and even though it's subtle...it has GREAT staying power. I've found several bottles on Ebay but they're RARE. I've noticed many sites DO carry the MINI Monogram. It's worth buying a Mini just to try it out. It's definitely worth the try. I wish they'd bring it back...subtle, lasting, and classy! Joint is a terrific warm and woody scent. It's been fairly overlooked and is now hard to find. But it's worth trying if you can find it. It's warm, fresh, woody and a very unique, classy scent.

This is one of the very few fragrances that I really hated. The menthol/mint/eucalyptus is SO strong...that it smelled like Vicks Vapo Rub. It's just awful. If you love rubbing Vicks on your chest, you'll enjoy spraying this on the rest of your body. Big thumbs down. Josh A. USA 2-1/04

This is the first fragrance from Vera Wang for Men, and it's excellent! It's a great fragrance for winter. It's very rich and very warm. And it's classy. It's bold without being overbearing. Dunhill is the BEST new fragrance I've tried in 2003! It's a solid new scent that's warm and determined. It's fresh and mellow and the dry down is smooth and powdery. It may be the most sophisticated of all the Dunhill fragrances...I think it's definitely the best. The After Shave, Deodorant, and Shampoo are also GREAT. Give this one a try. J. Augustt 12/06/03

I LIKE this new YSL Scent. It's very unique and not like everything else. It's very warm, clean, and classy. I purchased both the EDT and the Essence, which has only slightly longer staying power. It's not a long lasting scent and that may be its only draw back. But I give it a strone thumbs up and feel it's definitely worth a try. J. Augustt 12/06/03

Purple Label is a really good new fragrance from Ralph Lauren. It's a warm, fresh, classy scent all the way. The scent lasts longer if you use BOTH the After Shave along with the Cologne. This is definitely worth trying. J. Augustt 12/05/03

PS is one of the more over looked scents. I find that I keep coming back to this one, when I want a crisp, clean, spicy, warm scent. And it never disappoints. It's no longer expensive and the line includes many back up products including PS Talc. This is a very classy scent and well worth a try. J. August 10/17/03

This is a VERY classy new scent from Stetson. They put away the cowboy and the horse and created a very fine, sophisticated warm scent. It's light but it's fresh, woody, and warm. If this was released by an upscale label, it would sell for big bucks. This one is worth a try. J. Augustt 11/05/03

This a GREAT new cologne!!! It's got a very unique scent that clearly does NOT smell like any other cologne. And it's not too subtle, even though it IS light and fresh. It's that rare, great fragrance that's ORIGINGAL, fresh, warm yet now overpowering...and it has great staying power. I've been a fan of Mont Blan's Presence. But they've topped it, with Individual. I love this new scent by Ted Lapidus. It reminds me, a bit, of Christobal. Except, this fragrance is more subtle yet just as long lasting. If you like a warm, rich, and fresh out of the shower scent, then I think you can't go wrong with this new winner.

SPARK is a warm, rich new Claiborne entry. It's also fresh, but it's a nice, deep fragrance without being too heavy. A great fragance for fall and winter. Very well done and worth trying.

MESMERIZE IS GREAT!!! I just discovered both this and Avon's Wild Country and they're two great discoveries. Mesmerize does just what the name implies. It's mesmerizing!It's very warm, fresh, and classy. It has staying power and Avon sells all of the back up products. It's not expensive. But it feels and smells like a cologne that sells at ten times the amount. If you like warm, fresh, and sensual, try it...you will love it!

This is a new find for me. I just "discovered" Wild Country and Mesmerize from Avon, and they're both GREAT! Wild Country is a warm, spicy, fresh scent that's very classy and stays with you for a long time. It has a powedery finish and it's pure class all the way. It's a great surprise!!!

I love this scent. Sander never really promoted it, but it has a loyal following. It's completely unique. It's very warm, fresh, with just a touch of exotic fern and it long lasting and stays warm during the final dry down. It's a killer scent. But it's murder trying to find a bottle. Your best shot would be a "mini" and even those have become rare.

Time For Action is a "nice" summer scent. It's fresh, acquatic, and has a nice light warm dry down. I don't think it's great or trend setting...but I do like it, especially for summer.

I agree with JASON's Review. I think this is a great new summer scent. It's light, bright, fresh, and then it has a deeper lingering warmth...perfect for summer. It's not in a league with Snader's Feeling Man or Background etc. Those were VERY distintive scents that made a statement and were totally unique. Sun may be more generic, but it's at the top of its class. Try this one...I think you'll like it.

I love this cologne. This takes a great scent, Samourai...just one step further. It's in the same family of fresh, clean, marine like...but it adds a bit more flair with the addition of some sweeter accents. But NOT...too sweet. A really good, new cologne worth trying.

This is a GREAT scent. It IS different for a scent that is both fresh and warm. It has a very unique (bend) on a marine type scent. This is going to get you a lot of compliaments, and make you "feel" good, while wearing it. Try this one.

This is one you can miss. Simply put, it just smells "musty" and old. I really like some of Davidoff Scents (see "RELAX"). But, for good reason, this cologne just never found a following.

Colours is a GREAT scent.I completely agree with the previous review. It's very fresh, but uniquely so. It's a completely original fresh scent with a bit of spice and it wears well and stays fresh for hours. Unfortunately it's on the endangered list. Try and sample this one before it completely disappears...it's a whole new experience in "fresh".

The good news is, Relax is the BEST scent I've found in the last twenty years. The bad news...it's no longer sold in regular stores in the US. It IS available at Davidoff Stores, and in Europe. This is the smoothest, warmest, cleanest scent I've ever experienced. It's rich yet never overpowering and it even makes you FEEL good, just wearing it. This is a winner guys. If you can find a sample somewhere, try it. I discovered it on this site and it's a great discovery. Enjoy.

I think this is a WINNER! If you like scents that are warm, deep, fresh, and yeah...even sexy...this is a real find. The only problem is finding it! For a new cologne (02), it's very hard to find. This scent stands out...very unique, one of those rare new finds. Jacomo should have a real winner.

Anthracite is a GREAT scent, that I've only recently tried. It's not for everybody. It's very fresh and rich. It has a deep almost floral opening, but a rush of lingering warmth takes over and it's got pretty good staying power. If you like to "smell good"...this is the ticket. It also comes in a Spray Deodorant and using the two in combination, is a winning, fresh, and warm combination.

Escada has finally found a really fine new scent for men. It will probably be its most successful male scent, to date. It's a very simple scent, but warm and lingering.It's great fom the moment you put it on and it has staying power. It has both a Shower Gel and Spray Deodorant, and when all three are used, it's a great clean, warm, and fresh scent for the winter.

This is another great but hard to find Aramis fragrace.It's in the same simple, clean, crisp family as regular Kiton, but this has an added warmth. I mix both Kiton and Napoli Kiton and it's a very unique fragrance. I love it!The only trouble is trying to find it...especially in the US. This one is becoming an 'underground favorite'

Guys, there's nothing to crave about this scent. It's so light and airy, that is has no real distinct fragrance of its own. And even if it did, this cologne had absolutely no staying power. What is Calvin Klein thinking about these days...he's sure not thinking about creating quick classics as in past years. Save your money for something worthwhile!

This is a wonderful fragrance that's not very easy to find. The cologne and the spray deodorant have the same warm, clean, fresh, and very classy scent. If you like warm, clean, and fresh...I highly recommend it

I really cannot stand Romo Uomo. It has such a deeply pungent, sweet scent. I bought it hastily and tried the cologne, the Spray Deodorant, and The Shower Gel. It really was so strong and had an awful thick overly sweet scent, I felt nauseated! I know this is a fine House, but Laura sure didn't make me take my clothes off...it made me run for some fresh air

Fath is a most unusual and warm, sensual scent. It may seem a bit too sweet if you use too much...as a little goes a long way. They also make a wonderful Spray Deodorant that is just as terrific. It's not sold everywhere and that's a plus, for me. I found both the cologne AND the Spray DEO. at Perfumebay.com. If you want, you can try one of the Deodorants and see if you like the scent. It's a rather undiscovered fragrance, but I find it a "winner."

This is one of my favorites! I love the combination of Fresh and Warm and very Sensual, within a minute of putting it on. I find this one of the BEST. It's simple, but very classy and compliments seem to just some naturally. As with most scents, it does smell differently on different people. But if you like Warm and fresh and unusual and NOT over powering...than this may be the same Discovery for you, that it's been for me. They also make a GREAT Spray Deodorant, but it's impossible to find in the US. But even the Deo. alone, is a great fresher upper!

Weekend is a very nice, lite, fresh fragrance...nice for casual wear. It's citrus and fresh and not in the least, heavy. I've enjoyed it, literally, for weekend wearing. It's easy duty and makes you feel fresh and relaxed

If you like a very fresh, open, masculine scent, then 1881 is perfect for you. It's a "fresh from the shower" scent that's not at all "artificial," and it lasts a long time and smells just as good, as when you put it on. That said, it's also NOT a heavy scent. I find I keep trying the "new, new" scents, and forget that there are a world of great "flavors" out there. that have lasted, for a very good reason. 1881, is one of them.

This is one of the best scents I've tried in years. It's very rich, warm, and unique. It lasts and it's great to just "sniff" yourself! I got lots of compliements from both women and men. Very classy...like most of the Rochas Scents

Very classy, but I had a hard time distinguishing it from the Original Herrera! I'd test it before I bought it, if you're looking for Herrera Plus...it's pretty much Herrera Original, which I DO like, very much.

It's a terrific, rich scent that's rich, spicey, and warm. It's full bodied and very fresh. A real quality scent, that has lots of surprizes. I recommend it. josh august

I read Basenotes reviews before I tried Angel Men. I love it. It's one of the most "soothing" scents I've ever worn. It is sweet, but also very, very warm, long lasting, and completely unique. You smell like you just stepped out of a clean shower...all day! It's great!

I was knocked out by this great fragrance. I heard about on Basenotes. It's incredibly fresh and invigorating and very, very masculine, but not at all heavy. The spray deodorant and body wash are equally great! It kind of smells like great old barber shops use to smell. years ago. This one is worth a try. It's not easy to find, however. It's from London and not sold widely in the US. I got it through The Grooming Lounge, recommended on this site. The only thing as good and fresh as Skinwear...is Endurance...their brand new scent!

I just tried this fragrance and I loved it! It's very similar to the other Ted Baker scent, Skinwear. They are both amazingly fresh and talk about a way to "wake up" in the morning. It's a hair sweeter than Skinwear, and I like the added lightness. But this, like Skinwear, is a very, masculine, fresh, and totally unique fragrance. People are just knocked out by it. Try it...it's not only different...it's great.

I love this scent but do not wear it myself. I DO wear the Eau Sauvage Spray Deodorant. The only problem is finding it. I bought mine in Paris and may have to go back to re-stock! It's a great spray deodorant after a shower.

I love 'pi' and loved it from the get go. Walked into Harrods in '99 and this great, warm, sensual scent waft over me. Harrods was introducing the fragrance and I bought it as well as the spray deodorant and have loved it ever since. I love the fresh and warm combination. I sometimes combine it with others ie: Roccabar (I know it sounds awful, but it kind of "perks" it up a bit). But on its own, I find this one of the great modern day scents.
