    Adidas Urban Spice by Adidas

Adidas Urban Spice has been the fragrance I find most suitable for bringing to work.
It is not outstanding, but it is at least its own fragrance, I mean it doesn´t come across as some other frag´s clone.
I keep returning to buy the deodorant and I bought the eau de toilette, but as with "perfectstranger" my bottle is still half full.
This could be a sleeper classic if it only had a little more personality.
The deodorant mixes well with other frags, meaning it does not clash, at least with the ones I use (Prada Man,Odeur71, Arancia di capri, to name a few)
I recommend all to give it a try, it is really inexpensive. Good price/benefit ratio ;-)

    Vetiver Brazil by O Boticário

    Truly contemporary interpretation on Vetiver.
O Boticario has taken very seriously this attempt, almost as a vindication of their status as one of Brazil premier perfume houses.
The fragrance is balanced, starting off with citric but demure top notes and fresh vetyver, followed by a sensual wrapping up of the cashmere woods, and finishing with smoky vetyver, cedar, musk and at the very last the amber.

This is for me a truly professionaly executed fragrance, and as the packaging stresses, it uses 100% Brazilian Vetiver, which has its true own personality. Try it and you won't be dissapointed.

p.s.: The box comes with a sample sachet of dried vetyver roots, which is a great bonus for fragrance lovers if you ask me. It smells divine and helps you understand the fragrance development.

parfums*PARFUMS Series 2 Red: Palisander by Comme des Garçons

I asked a friend to bring this home to me from a trip to Paris to give it as a gift (it is impossible to get it in South America) and I was really tempted to keep it for myself. Fortunately she got it at the CDG perfume store. I must say I was totally astonished in the most positive way.. The smell of palisander is intoxicatingly vivid and delicious, beautifully rounded by the other notes:The red cedar adds body, the peppers heighten everything up, the saffron really rounds all the possible hard edges, and the myrrh is the perfect end note, although it does smell a little church-y to me. The persistance is great. The flaçon and the packaging are also flawless (did I already say that I love frosted glass?) This is an excellent and very classy find for anyone who looks for something that is classic, avant garde and exclusive. You get all 3 qualities when you buy this baby. I will proceed to enjoy it on the skin of my loved one for a while.

Odeur 71 by Comme des Garçons

This one I got by requesting it to a friend that traveled to Paris this Christmas...(plus another CDG scent as a gift...) I found it at first very similar to Odeur 53, but as it developed on my skin I found out that all they have in common is that they are both synthetics, but then the notes change quite a bit. I think that in the sampling process CDG uses, the identity of the sample, all it's personality, is lost (i.e. I have to try VERY HARD to conjure up dust on a lightbulb while smelling this one, photocopier is much easier though..) but on the other hand this is a very sexy perfume in a kinky sort of way...This is the olfactory equivalent of a sex toy...it only requires a little imagination to turn it from something inanimated and lifeless into an accessory to pleasure.

Beyond Paradise for Men by Estée Lauder

I just received this as a christmas gift.
I love it, the top notes are fruity indeed, but the drydown reminds me of Lauder's own Pleasures for men. For me it's Pleasures for men minus the floral notes plus fuity top notes= Beyond Paradise Men...
This is a keeper: a sexy summer scent.

Cedro / Cedar by Acca Kappa

This fragrance has very high quality cedar woood essential oil as its base.
It is a cologne but it has a very goog persistance without being overwhelming.
It is simple and subtle. Don't be afraid of it being too strong or old-fashioned smelling like "Pino Silvestre" or the like. I definitely recomend it.
