| | parfums*PARFUMS Series 7 Sweet: Burnt Sugar by Comme des GarçonsExactly like the name says - it let's you smell like popcorn with lots of sugar on it. Tasty - yes.And I even believe that it could become some kind of very special favorite for some people. But too sweet, and a bit too "in your face" for my tastes. On the other hand, it was exactly what I expected it to be. 28th March, 2005. |
| | parfums*PARFUMS Series 7 Sweet: Nomad Tea by Comme des GarçonsMaybe the only fragrance of the whole new CdC-series I'm looking forward to wear at least once. It smeels like the sweet peppermint sticks given to children at Xmas in the US. At least, that's what I was told by a friend. Very fresh, peppermint and green tea, with a solid sweet, but not too sweet base. By far not so spicy like the series 3 "Peppermint". Of course not everybody's cup of tea :) but if you like the smell of tea with fresh peppermint on hot summer days, then you'll find this at least interesting and maybe worth a try. To be worn with humour and confidence, of course. 28th March, 2005. |
| | parfums*PARFUMS Series 7 Sweet: Wood Coffee by Comme des GarçonsFrom the whole series this was the one I was looking forward to the most, and it clearly failed to keep me interested after a second. I was expecting the smell of fresh coffee, like entering a french or italian cafÈ. Far from that, it smelled far more like spicy, dry wood than like coffee. Maybe it's my fault and misconception, but I found it too "sharp" for my tastes, and I normally adore fragrances with wood notes. 28th March, 2005. |
