Gaultier² by Jean Paul Gaultier
I gave this a shot, and I while I liked it enough to buy it, I wound up giving it to my brother who does it more justice. This frag is the reason I no longer buy blind. Could not get a compliment from the ladies but the fellas wanted to know what it was every time I wore it. I used 1/4 of the bottle before I handed it off. On everyone but the user, it smells great. BTW, the lady at the counter NEVER mentioned that it was a unisex gourmand.

Opium pour Homme by Yves Saint Laurent
This was the very first cologne I ever owned. My freshman year in high school was when I first tried it on and I loved every moment of it! All the females in class were blown away by this scent. The fellas on the other hand despised it, but had to concede that I stepped my game up excellently! A great all-around fragrance for home, office, school, and even the lounge. The key: wear it in small amounts on your pressure points(neck, wrists, etc.) and allow it to dry before you dress. You will get double-takes all day.

Joop! Homme by Joop!
I tried this frag once, and let me tell you, I got constant compliments from the female persuasion! at first, it starts out like candy, then it mellowed out on my skin and I was sold on it! A prego woman craving sweets had her nose on my neck begging me to tell her what was I wearing. This is an instant "panty-dropper" when out clubbing. However, a classmate of mine tried it also but was just a TOUCH liberal with his application. He wound up offending everyone in Homeroom and going home with multiple hornet stings. So gentlemen I warn you, MODERATION is KEY with this scent.
Thumbs up for me because I always get compliments from the women!!!

The One for Men by Dolce & Gabbana
I can wear this frag anywhere and I will get a compliment. While it starts off a bit synthetic, once the drydown kicks in it tends to linger lightly on my skin and not overpower. A great frag for summer nights and autumn afternoons. The ladies at church seem to enjoy it; one even bought some for her husband. Had to inform her to buy a set for herself as well.

A*Men / Angel Men by Thierry Mugler
I love Angel Men! This is my "go get 'er" frag when I fancy a bit of skirt-chasing. The chocolate, vanilla, and peppermint notes are the most prominent on my skin. I thought it had a touch of cinnamon. In any case, the ladies in the 18-to-24 category seem to go wild over this one, especially while clubbing . While I did get a few complements from women in their 30s (and one gorgeous 44yr old), IMO this is a scent for the kittens; for cougars look elsewhere. Caveat: spray this DIRECTLY on skin and wait for the drydown before dressing because the scent will stick on your garments until you hit the cleaners.

Concentrée D'Orange Verte by Hermès
For starters, let me say that I've never tried the Ed'OV. Don't think I will after sampling the Concentre. This is a frag that comes out the barrel super hot! It turned me off a bit until the drydown. Then it begins to resemble a stronger version of Guerlain Homme. A nice frag if you're on a date. Too strong for the office until the drydown IMO.

Terre d'Hermès by Hermès
This is a nice frag that starts out on the bright side IMO. Then, once the drydown starts, it gives you that peppery aura. Not a overpowering frag by any means. A real gentleman's fragrance: subtle, sensual, classy, confident.

Armani Code / Black Code by Giorgio Armani
Not what I was gunning for. When I sampled it in a magazine I thought, "wow, I gotta get it". Now I let my nephew wear it when he visits. The scent kinda wears off of me after a few hours. Maybe it's due to the humidity here in Atlanta and my heavy sweating that has an effect. It has a fresh kick in the first hour or two, but I desire more stamina.
