Private Collection Amber Ylang-Ylang by Estée Lauder
Lovely creamy ylang ylang opening, but the dry down is sharp amber on my skin. Doesn't mix well with my chemistry, unfortunately, but the silage is phenomenal.

Orange Blossom by Jo Malone
Love this incredibly feminine and refreshing scent. Only wish it lasted longer!

Blu by Bulgari
Opens up with ginger and citrus, quite refreshing. Doesn't take long before ginger quietens and smoldering plastic emerges. Not a terrible scent but certainly not something I would try again.

Armani Privé Bois d'Encens by Giorgio Armani
What a stunning fragrance! Definitely my favorite of the Prive line. It is woody, soft, dark, autumnal incense. Excellent sillage and lasting power. True that it is insanely expensive. Might just try a decant....

Louve by Serge Lutens Les Salons du Palais Royal Shiseido
I love this. I wear this when I don't know what else to choose. It is sweet but far from cloying. It light cherries, almond with a lovely, dry creamy amber dry down. It isn't girly. It is feminine but not aged.

Black Orchid by Tom Ford
This is a very bizarre scent. It opens beautiful as it's name suits it: like a mysterious black orchid. All of a sudden, in acidic, leathery berry wearing soggy wool emerges. After about an hour, the berry goes away and the woolens dry and I'm left with a long lasting powdery, musky flower...can't decide what flower, though.

Daim Blond by Serge Lutens Les Salons du Palais Royal Shiseido
Incredibly different. Opens up with the hawthorne blast but settles smoothly. The leather is not fierce or obvious. It is very fine and soft like lovely Argentinian leather worn further down between a gaucho's thighs.

White Patchouli by Tom Ford
Lovely patchouli and big white flowers opening. After about an hour, an odd plastic scent emerges. Smooth and minty dry down with very good lasting power.
