Another waste of time, money and airspace from the house of Malle. This edition is so bland and inoffensive there seems to be no reason for its conception. There appears to be too much choice in the world of perfumery and not enough self censorship. Modern mineral, linear, but why? For a more interesting response to the interpretation of flesh odours then try the more challenging Secretions Magnifique by Etat Libre.
By far and away the best Vetiver there is. There is a lot of the stuff in this potion. Mind you that is not too difficult as Vetiver oil is a relatively cheap ingredient, its acrid nature has been softened just enough by the citrus and sandalwood. Very green - nice.
Oooh! A bit too much Tuberose, giving a very theatrical aspect, verging on the camp, or is there a drag queen in the room?
A refined lavender with an elegant smoke, bringing to mind Sobranie Black Russian cigarettes.
It acts extremely well as a tonic against the arid heat and torpor of high noon in the height of Summer.
Surprisingly for an SL scent, it is not too syrupy.
It is very easy to knock out a decent Vetivert scent. It is a cheap ingredient that requires just a little softening of the edges.
The best example to my mind is the Malle VE - green perfection. This blend comes close but there is a weird musky note in the dry-down that reminds me of soggy uncooked pastry.
The packaging is superb.

Footballers scent. Sits right at the back of my cupboard, alongside the Brut.
Out damn spot!
Dead mermaid washed up on a beach.
Hmmm! Damask rose, add a squirt of acetone and voila! - the Emperors new clothes.
Druggy and erotic, like a moist red velvet chair in a box at the opera, with a whiff of a Venetian canal probing around the ankles.
