Aqua Allegoria Mentafollia by Guerlain
I love Mentafollia, even though I thought I wouldn't because I have a love-hate relationship with mint. But there is something magical in the combination of ingredients and their balance. I could swear that there is musk in Mentafollia though I have not seen it listed. The mint does not stand out to me beyond the initial slight "burst" and then it is so mellow in the way it blends with all the rest: the mandarin and jasmine. The cedar and tea take it beyond just a plain little green scent and ground it. It does seem more suited for summer but I am enjoying it as a fall fragrance perhaps because it is not at all fruity or sweet. Mentafollia works well for me in conjunction with the crunchy leaves under the soles of my shoes and their nutty smell. It is definitely happier than a fall day because of its lingering fragrance of rose petals.

Hiris by Hermès
Hiris does indeed work for women. It is a "sweet and sour" fragrance. The hay note adds an unusual dimension to the orange (neroli) I think and makes for a nicely sour aspect. The vanilla, almond and orris are sweet but don't become cloying. The rose seems to weave the sweet and sour together as it is neither. Hiris is "sweet and sour" with a beautiful powdery drydown that still has a whisper of the sour. I don't wear it everyday but when I do I find it unique. I do not like overly sweet and syrupy fragrances and Hiris avoids that.

Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf
Flowerbomb smells like cotton candy and is overpoweringly sweet. It is much too cloying for me. I liked it more on a paper strip than on my skin. It might work best in very small concentrations.

1000 by Jean Patou
I wish I could like it because I bought it. I am going to try it again and maybe my opinion will change. I am wondering whether I just do not enjoy a chypre fragrance so maybe it is me. It also makes my stomach turn.
