    Idole de Lubin by Lubin

Very linear to begin with. Now that might be a good thing, you decide.
Either way this has a nice boozy and quite daring start, for a short while (and I was hoping for something more as it developed). Then it keeps that boozy spicy sorta thing going and I have to say it smells real nice, but really I only find it charming, it's to comfy for me.
No pirate stuff this. ; ) To bad since the bottle is very sexy.

Carnal Flower by Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle

This in some way smells like what some old lady would wear..though I can't describe for you in any detail how.
As well this to me smells quite a bit to feminine for a man (and I have quite a thing for floral fragrances etc).....maybe it is that those frags I own and like, quite werging on the feminine, are more provocative in a less classical way than this one. This is pretty old school a fragrance I believe.
And as for provocative I don't think CF is that at all.
I mean I really think it smells good, intoxicating in some way yes...but like I said.
Everyone has biases and such, when fragrances are concerned, in so many ways, something cultural, something your motherwore you didn't quite like and so on and so forth.... Clearly, since I doubt everyone here is 40+ year old ladies.

Don't buy the hype though. ; D Une Fleur de Cassie, and Portrait of a Lady I find the best "floral/feminine" from this house any guy could wear..well.

He Wood Rocky Mountain Wood by Dsquared2

Like I wrote in some thread about this fragrance, it really captures ehm well the name "rocky mountain wood".... It really makes me think of a forest, that's wet in some way, with mountains or rocky hills.
Reminds me quite a bit of spring or fall here in Sweden, when you no longer need to wear to much clothes or you enjoy the last "warm & sunny" days (10Celsius or so, still bit chilly ofcourse) me walking through the local forests.......not much special about them but sometimes the air smell quite nice.........again like the name says.

I can't say whether this is a more "happy" than "depressing" a fragrance....

Also I don't think it's groundbreaking, I think it's a tad boring for MY taste, but h*ell this smells great..I just have gotten an addiciton for more strange and in different ways in-your-face-fragrances. Even for me one day I might just buy this.
I think anyone no matter age could wear this easily mature 13year old to 99 year old.

Lasting power for me is good, but sillage/projection fades after 3 hours. That's just me though. Anyway this can be found quite cheap nowadays.

(Based on 2-3 full wears, and a few spritses on my wrist now and again)

Nice to see a fragrance release that, to me at least, captures something so nicely.

A Travers Le Miroir by Thierry Mugler

Through the looking-glass...... I find it quite fitting a name for this one. Have always found it very intoxicating, in the sense of: 1. The feeling of a beautiful young woman with all the beautiful things you'd imagine her having.... 2. From time to time when wearing this, having to just simply and only, enjoy the fragrance, and relaxing my body parts so that the scent takes over and all the things it springs to mind (Drugs is one thing this reminds me of.....erm).
Got a bit sad when my mother told me it smelled like strawberries......and yeah the similarities are striking if you actually think about it. But some strange strawberries then. Guess it's easy to draw such associations to perfume.

Anyway this is very feminine as I said, but pretty unique (and don't worry 'bout what I said about strawberries really...unless you're worried about the strangeness), and yes has some kind of woodiness...and sharpness (tuberose-ish like jtd explained it very well). So it's extremely unisex, or should I say on the traditional male/female-what-to-wear-scale this can fit anywhere, unlike a lot of niche unisex floral fragrances I've come accross.

It doesn't last long though, but it does really help to re-apply after 15-20 minutes.........and be liberal with the spraying, & wear in the summer heat. Projection/sillage is pretty good.

    Blue Sugar by Aquolina

    Sweet, sweet, sweet.

Comparing this to Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin (both sharing a lot of qualities), this one is more easy going, more casual (not as owerpowering on the licorise/anise - vanilla), letting you easier smell all the notes, of this, in my humble opinion, beautiful fragrance.

    B*Men by Thierry Mugler

I'd think I like this more than A*Men...because this one (B*Men) doesnt start very sharp and then drydown to a relatively sweet & harmless smell. B*Men stays more balanced throughout, but that's not as exciting to me, so this will 'just' be my more 'casual'/'everyday' -fragrance.

This is not as cloying-potential as A*Men, and in comparison this seems to be more doable to wear in warmer weather, to me.

    Davidoff Adventure by Davidoff

''A fresh, spicy and woody fragrance inviting to a faraway escapism...'' Revitalizing, assuring.

Lasts for me about 2-4 hours...not to good, and it doesn't seem to project far away from the body for me.

I'm really considering buying a bottle, even tough it's not very groundbreaking and the lasting-power isn't really there...

EDIT: After coming to my sense I'll never buy this shite, for reasons stated above. Give it a neutral R.

    Ice*Men by Thierry Mugler

Refreshing, substantial, cool, warm, crisp, yet, for me atleast, slightly repulsive. Quite unique. Reminds me a bit of staying awake long long, while drinking tons of coffe so you start to freeze and (cold) sweat...but (mostly) in a good way...

Not heavy, tough not light/elusive, nor sweet, -kinda smell.

Lasts around 6 hours for me and stays quite linear in it's evolving.

    Porsche Design Essence by Porsche

    I haven't smelled a lot of light/aquatic/sporty/fresh-scents in my life, and I don't really wan't to either...

I sincerely think this is a good fragrance (perhaps not a good fragrance to use, dun dun duun). My 1.2ml vial will last me a good while!

I would give it a thumbs up if this wasn't the type of scent 'everyone' would wear.

A*Men / Angel Men by Thierry Mugler

The first few hours reminded me of summer... Fresh air, tar, flowers, a synthetic smelling bath/shower-gel-time after a day out in the sun...yet enough hints of the warmer half of this fragrance. Lovely in my opinion, and in your face! The later drydown (wich lasts very very long on my skin) is much less intimidating, warmer as I said, and the synthetic touch (from the helonial I guess) depletes.

The fragrance notes written here I agree explains this fragrance a lot.

Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin by Lolita Lempicka

This is a very sweet fragrance, very sweet scents (in this one atleast) I don't mind at all. Anise/licorice rich, I love that. For me it has some depth, some unique notes flashing by making it enough exciting.

I don't find it cloying, but I guess that depends on who's smelling it.

Nice when you want to be smelled for sure, if you don't mind that not everyone will be a fan of it.

    Bulgari Black by Bulgari

Unique. I love the smoky rubbery smell, and with whatever else I could possibly smell alongside the vanilla yummyness. I love the bottle, I love the whole fragrance.

Lasts quite long, sillage I don't know (not used it so much), pretty strong (2-3 sprays max - no more than that for me).
Unisex - sure, it seems very induvidual if you would acctually be able to '''pull it off'', Im weird enough tough so I don't have to worry about that.

And to add a thing here going though my old reviews:
I'm not TO hyped about this anymore, I've found weirder lovely fragrances since this one, so this is sort of my casual wear now!
And yeah, have to agree with people saying this doesn't prject to much even though it's potent.

Opium pour Homme by Yves Saint Laurent

I would hardly wear this on the day, its...well yes darker than that so to speak. I don't want to take to many hits of minty oriental booze if I would want to concentrate on work, school, or anything the like.
I don't like the minty touch much at all, but when I use some Opium that doesn't concern me.....atleast I hope so for the bottles safety.

Quite yummy. Im not sure I love it, but seems loveable and very vibrant.

Acqua di Giò pour Homme by Giorgio Armani

This doesn't work very well with cold weather, according to my nose, and I don't feel like spraying my whole body with it. I want to smell myself and the frag a bit once in a while without having to sniff like a maniac... Like to wear it indoors at home sometimes, in these colder months here... Its fresh and clean. I can also understand reviews here saying it makes them feel sick-ly, for me it doesnt get near that point, tough its not ultra-light to me, it has some character, can make me a bit dizzy but thats because I keep smelling my wrists.

Smells good, but I'll be trying to find something less used untill summer. '''Dont touch it in atleast 5 years'' - yeah thats probably a good advice.

L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Intense by Issey Miyake

Good lasting power and sillage on myself.

Its a tad to soft for me (especially some late part of the drydown wich at a time mostly smelled sweet and cozy), would like it to be a bit more ''intense'' rather than (intensively) sweet and tolerable. Not as vibrant as I hoped, for me it smells very good tough.
