Bulgari pour Homme by Bulgari

Too 'corporate' for my taste. Too prim and proper and lacks that hint of edginess that I want in a fragrance. Unfortunately it does'nt do it for me, although I wanted it to.

Versace Man Eau Fraîche by Versace

I am editing my previous review but I still give this a thumbs up. Although I'm still brushing up on my aquatics, this one seems to stand out as being a tad more complex and developmental over its lifespan - unlike many other aquatics that seem more linear to my nose. I liked it enough to buy a bottle. I'm very curious to discover the similarities mentioned with D&G light blue femme.

Voyage by Nautica

Crisp and clean..Yes. The bottle is nice too. But I find it doesnt last very long and is a very linear fragrance with little development.

Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentrée by Chanel

Depending on your individual style this can definately work as a younger man's fragrance. I wear it on days when I want a boost of confidence - quiet, calm, subtle confidence. It just simply smells good and has a soothing quality. Its polite and will never raise its voice at you. Its like being at the race-track on a sunny day, betting on your prize winning Arabian steed.

Black XS by Paco Rabanne

I disagree that this is a dark and mysterious scent. If it was in a pink bottle with gold frills it would still work. I do like the bottle however, and I see how it all fits together. This is one my favourites - a great addition to my collection. Straight A's for artistic (gothic) impression. It would be out of place on the distinguished older gentleman. Its a young fragrance, but towards the middle and end, it does have complexity. Nice!!

Weekend for Men by Burberry

After about an hour is smells very chemical-like on my skin. Like a strong cleaning product. I didn't overapply either.

DKNY Red Delicious Men by Donna Karan

I sampled this on my luch break and after work decided to buy a bottle. Its more suitable for the younger crowd. Its one of my favorites to feel light-hearted and carefree, but if only it had more strength!

Very Sexy for Him 2 by Victoria's Secret

I bought this after reading the reviews. Its one of my best scents to wear at night. It emerges into something awesome after a short while. DA SHIZ!!

Premium for Men by Phat Farm

Good fresh fragrance. Modern-type scent that is best suited for casual occasions, but is refined enough to work in young office setting. I will throw this into my daytime scents, and I see how it can be re-applied to work well as a provacative and interesting evening scent too. Versatile!

Le Mâle by Jean Paul Gaultier

Too intense for me. Top notes are OK, but it turns into a monster that that I wish I could shake off. This is not for a cool, subtle personality. Its for the one who feels comfortable being the one and only - 'le male'. Easy big fella..

A*Men / Angel Men by Thierry Mugler

Sampled it this weekend. First I took a pain releiever to rid myself of the heachache, nausea and dizzy spells - then I bathed in tomato juice to make the smell go away :)

Oscar de la Renta pour Lui by Oscar de la Renta

Quite strong. Do not overapply. Definately coose the appropriate occasion and season to wear this. Formal, winter, fall. Not a young, modern fragrance. I can see, however, how it won an award back in the day. Too grampa-like for me. If YSL Rive Gauche is for the guy going through a mid-life crisis, this is what he would wear when he gets out of it.

Silver Black / Onyx by Azzaro

Mysterious, confident, edgy with an attitude. I'm a nice guy, but with this I'm a bad boy.

Rive Gauche pour Homme by Yves Saint Laurent

Would go well with Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo. Smells like the barber my nanny used to take me to see when I was 7. Maybe she liked him, but I doubt it was because he smelled good.

Chemistry by Clinique

A good summer fragrance. Comes across a bit too strong in a citrusy kind of way at first. Not too warm and soothing for the first half of its life, then it settles down nicely. Very simple - acheives its objective, but lacks mystery.

Lanvin L'Homme by Lanvin

This is a warm fragrance. I imagine it working well in a setting like Aspen, lounging by a nice fire while looking out the huge window at snow capped peaks. Better yet, on the chairlift with a Bond-like ski bunny.
