    Julia by Téo Cabanel

One me Julia opens with a vibrant fruity floral and dry downs to a slightly powdery fruity sweetness with a warm note of sandalwood and musk. Lovely for a warm evening out.

parfums*PARFUMS Series 1 Leaves: Lily by Comme des Garçons

Opens on a really green note; goes through a kind of orchestra-of-lilies and freesias phase before drying down to a lily-of-the-valley scent that is charming and modest. I wish it weren't quite so sweet during the dry-down and had a more lemony note to it, but still, I like it.

parfums*PARFUMS Series 2 Red: Carnation by Comme des Garçons

Starts with a peppery/clove bite which mellows to a soft, delicate spicy carnation with a hint of red rose and jasmine with a undercurrent of spice to blend it all to gether. Cooling on a hot summer day or warm and comforting in winter.

Nuit de Cellophane by Serge Lutens Les Salons du Palais Royal Shiseido

Nuit de Cellophane opens on a clean almost soapy note on me, after a while the green note merges and blends into a delicious honeyed fruity floral with a hint of musk This is an unusual Serge Lutens scents but I think for me, it will become one of my favorite summer scents.

La Chasse Aux Papillons by L'Artisan Parfumeur

So gorgeous in the bottlel. On my skin it didn't really evolve-- just a strong blast of jasmine and a hint of orange blossom. On me it is too sweet and cloying.

Drôle de Rose by L'Artisan Parfumeur

It starts off as a strong violet and with time turns into the most exquisite, powdery violet-rose scent wrapped in silky honey, grinded almonds and just a little bit of that sweet liquorice from the aniseed.

Mûre et Musc by L'Artisan Parfumeur

Absolutely delicious! The berry is VERY subdued, not overly sweet with a warm musky note, but not too heavy on me. This is the type of scent that works well in any situation. The overall effect is a "clean" type of fragrance. One of my favorites.

parfums*PARFUMS Series 3 Incense: Ouarzazate by Comme des Garçons

Hot, muted incense herbal sage with a sweet spicy note running through it. Smells jut like an afternoon hike in Sedona, Arizona

Tea for Two by L'Artisan Parfumeur

The opening of this delightful scent, smells just like clove cigarettes that were so popular in the sixties (the last century) jazz club in the Los Angeles, California area. After about an hour it dries down to a milky Chai scent that I LOVE!!!!

Chergui by Serge Lutens Les Salons du Palais Royal Shiseido

I had to LOL when I read Benjamin's review...I do the same thing especially on trying days, it makes the world a better place! I find Cherqui hypnotic, seductive, unique deeply sweet and intoxicating mellowness at the end.
