Original Vetiver by Creed

Classy scent for casual encounters. Starts with with a blast of citrus - mandarin, to be exact, but more like the peels than actual fruit - and quickly evolves to reveal a scent of fresh wood reminiscent of cedar. This is the phase that defines the scent as outdoorsy in the leisure class, like a polo player, golfer or a geese hunter - suggestive of the hard work ahead, but never necessarily taxed to a sweaty, physical limit. The vetiver is there, but only as a background note that casually swaggers between the bright wood and mandarin notes until the drydown 30 minutes later, where OV evolves into a rich, consistent and pleasantly one-dimensional texture with the smoothness of a $100 bill. Excellent longevity with better than average sillage. Two thumbs up.

Tom Ford Extreme by Tom Ford

Sexy, sensual, mature. Very complex and evolving. Smooth, sugary and smoky with spicy undertones that are more cinnamon than pepper. Longevity very much above average, sillage above average. Better for night time, formal occasions. Best suited for a woman in a little black dress.

Green Irish Tweed by Creed

Slightly soapy, dry, floral without being sweet or feminine, bright but without the tang of citrus. A fine scent, very in-offensive with average sillage and below-average longevity. A staple in my wardrobe. The ladies love it. Highly recommend.
