| | Green Irish Tweed by CreedThis fragrance is multifaceted and very well blended, balanced with the perfect amount of potency. My first encounter with this was a sample vial, and I loved it. I was so disheartened when the miniscule vial ran out. So I purchased an "affordable" 1oz bottle. I was completely surprised how different it smelled in it's millesime spray incarnation. It was a far heavier fragrance, and the ambergris note was far more apparent than the vial version. 1st July, 2009. |
| | Original Vetiver by CreedAt best this smells like a bar of Dial, or a Crayola scented crayon (Baby Powder mixed with Cedar Chest maybe?). At worst it smells like a grass clogged lawnmower. I don't understand this at all. The gradient green bottle is nice though, so at least there's some investment to keep after you dump the $250 liquid out. 23rd June, 2009. |
| | Millésime Impérial by CreedI absolutely love this scent. It's fresh, melon note is the highlight, which warms to a delicious amber. I couldn't stop sniffing myself after the initial application. Unfortunately this joy is short lived. The scent is taken away before it can really be enjoyed. Kind of like a one night stand, but if a one night stand lasted twenty minutes. 22nd June, 2009. |
| | H.M. by Hanae MoriThis is the scent that got me excited about fragrances. It's multifaceted, and highly nuanced. This is one that definitely changes depending on your personal chemistry. On me, I never smell the gourmand properties as strongly as others have complained about. I smell the lemon and black currant, which is extremely warm and luxurious. My absolute favorite part is the base notes, especially the moss and amber. The base notes are dirty and musky, but in the most fantastic kind of way. This scent is extremely hard to explain, it's a complex enigma that I keeps me coming back to try and solve. 26th January, 2009. |
| | Acqua di Giò pour Homme by Giorgio ArmaniThis is the Axe of men's fragrances. It's everywhere, and it's affordable. You father probably has it, your brother, your friend, your enemy. It's a fine fragrance but don't expect to feel unique while wearing it. 26th January, 2009. |
