Hugo Deep Red by Hugo Boss
My husband bought this for me as he nearly bought it for himself when he detected it across the store from the fragrance dept, testament to its strength! It is bold and sexy with a spicy warmth - I only wear it for initimate dinners and night time outings. It has great longevity & lingers on my evening wear. The bottle is simple & bold and this style also appeals to me :D
I am now on my fifth bottle - it makes me feel sultry, sexy & adventurous.

Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden
No matter what the weather I have to wear a white coat all day, so this helps me feel fresh. I use this like a body spray as it is relatively inexpensive. It doesn't last long & has no serious impact, so works well as a sort of back ground scent for work - no one has ever commented on it. Nice & clean, a good refresher for hot days - I usually have a small bottle at work to spritz up at lunch time.

L'Eau D'Issey pour Homme by Issey Miyake
I love the freshness of this scent. It can be a little overpowering on the first sniff, but once the fizzy top notes have died down a little it retains a fresh crisp ginger zing all day. Again, I prefer the 'pour homme' to the ladies' version. Its more definite, somehow.
A nice springtime/summertime fragrance.

Obsession for Men by Calvin Klein
I loved this scent back in the 80s for its bold confidence & warmth, but was too much of a wallflower to risk wearing it. Come the 90s I bought some for a boyfriend. Unfortunately, something in his skin turned it into a more acrid scent - he was also a smoker so I think I was probably attempting to mask the awful cigarette odour. It didn't work & the bottle went when he did, but I kept a sample in my undies drawers for years & it still makes me feel warm & comforted. Have recently sprayed some on my coat lapel on my way through the scent dept - that was over a week ago - now I can't stop sniffing my coat! Will have to buy some again - for me this time. I prefer it to the women's version, possibly because I don't feel very 'girly'. Will be interested to try the Sheer Obsession as I think these old favourites are a little too heavy for work (I work in a school).
