Emerald Dream by Estée Lauder

In the stores 2008.

On my skin, this is perhaps the very best of the younger EL-perfumes. It is truly beautiful! I am very, very close to buying a bottle. If there was a whole line, with bodylotion and deo as well, I probably alreade had bought it, but there is only the EdP.

Must de Cartier by Cartier

Another great classic I can´t wear! It is so dissapointing! This one is just messy and strong on my skin! I envy all of you who carries this one well!

I stick to Le Baiser du Dragon when I find the Cartier perfumes, it is the only Cartier I wear truly well.

Elle by Yves Saint Laurent

It is so sad that every perfumer is turning their new releases to a younger public today. I want some perfumes for all of us older than 25, too.

Elle is yet another young perfume, but really well done. If I was younger than 25 I would have bought it right away. As I want a little mor out of my perfumes, Elle is just on my "maybee-list". But it gets a thumbs-up from me. It is really beautiful!

Promesse by Cacharel

The very best of Cacharels perfumes ever, IMHO, actually the only one working on my skin. I might get a bottle in the future...
14 June 2008

Allure Sensuelle by Chanel

I am giving this one a thumbs down, as it doas not comes out beautiful on my skin. There is just a mess of notes all the time... Being a great fan of No 19, No 5 and Cristalle, I think I will find my next Chanel among Allure or Coco Mademoiselle. I will pass by Allure Sensuelle, it is not for my skin...
14 June 2008

Tumulte by Christian Lacroix

I am sorry to give ubuandibeme right about this perfume. Tumulte has such a lovely bottle, but the perfume doas not live up to it! On my skin it just comes out like an uninteresting mess! Thums down from me. - I apologise to the fans of this perfume!
14 June 2008

Aromatics Elixir by Clinique

Very difficult fragance to wear, at least on my skin, as it is easy to put too much on, and too much makes this frag horrible. I really wanted to love this one, so I am sad to say that I am passing by this one!
14 June 2008

Anaïs Anaïs by Cacharel

Anaïs Anaïs has been in the stores all years since it´s release, and is almost a classic, I guess, but I have never liked to wear it. It just is too strong and too sweet on my skin. No matter how old I get, it will never be one of my faves. Others wears it very well, so I rate it with a neutral thumb.
14 June 2008

Youth Dew Amber Nude by Estée Lauder

Try this one before buying! It is not for everybody! On my skin, it never comes out beautiful, it is just way too strong and way too spicy. I have really tried to like this one, I have tested it many, many times, but it just doasn´t work for me.
I congrat all of you who wears this one well!
14 June 2008

Hypnotic Poison by Christian Dior

Not for my skin! After half an hour, there is nothing but vanilla on my skin. The Poisons for my skin is Tendre Poison and Pure Poison, I have to let Hypnotic Poison and Poison pass by.
14 June 2008

Cashmere Mist by Donna Karan

Cashmere Mist is too one-dimetioned for me, it comes out as just one smell all the time. Comforting, yes, and not too sweet, but nothing exciting at all. I will have to let this one pass by...
14 June 2008

Délices de Cartier by Cartier

Way too sweet for me! Sorry, I just have to jump over this one.
14 June 2008

Champs-Elysées by Guerlain

This is another masterpeace that don´t suits my skin. It becomes too sweet and a bit of a bore when I wear it. I envy all of you that wears this one well!
14 June 2008

Beyond Paradise by Estée Lauder

A truly beautiful perfume, coming out really well on my skin. And yet I haven´t got a bottle... There is something missing, I can´t explane what... In lack of better words, I say it is missing personality.

It gets a thumbs up from me, because it is really beautiful. I hope I will understand it better one day, and than perhaps I will get a bottle.
14 June 2008

Joy by Jean Patou

How disappointing! This classic is not made for my skin! It doas not sing at all on me, it just comes out i a mess! - I will have to be satisfied with the classics I actually wear very well, and will have to let this one go... I am so sad!
14 June 2008

Marc Jacobs by Marc Jacobs

I must give a big thumbs up to this underrated lovely perfume. It is a lovely gardenia, sheer and easy to wear, still rich. It is fresh and not sweet at all on my skin. It stays on for a long time.

It is a floral-orange tuberose, and remides me quite a lot of JPG Fragile EdT, another floral-orange tuberose.

The notes for Marc Jacobs Perfume EdP, from osMoz (in French):

Top: bergamote, tagète, gardénia

Heart: gardénia, poivre blanc, jasmin, chèvrefeuille

Base: bois blonds, musc

As JPG Fragile EdT no longer is availabel in my country, I am really happy to have found Marc Jacobs Perfume EdP. It has an obvious place in my wardrobe of perfumes!

Marc Jacobs Perfume EdP is not an easy perfume to find, very few stores has it in my country, so if it happends to come in your way, at least give it a try. You might get seduced by it, just like me. The bottle is lovely, too. 30 mL is tiny, square and has a pretty small black ribbon.

Madame Rochas (new) by Rochas

I got the possibility to smell both Madame Rochas and Rochas Femme once, and the one of these perfumes that suited my skin was Madame Rochas. So I had to have a bottle of her. I never regereted that, it is a very easy-to-wear-fragance, and still interesting. It is available at a very good price, too.

I red at a perfume-blog on Internet, that this frag is as the perfume for Jaqueline Kennedy. And I do agree. It is truly beautiful, and not at all "old".

Don´t let the namne stop you from trying Madame Rochas. It is a lower-price-alternative to Chanel No 19, at least to my nose!

Madame R getst two thumbs up from me!
11 June 2008

Angel by Thierry Mugler

I wish I could wear Angel, it is a big fraganse, longlasting and obvious quality... I have tried to wear it over and over again, but given it up after more than half a bottle. It doas not develope well on my skin, it just becomes messy, too sweet and not beautiful at all. I envy them who wears Angel well! - For the moment I am trying to wear Alien, and I think I can wear that one much better. I might get that one instead...
18 May 2008

Un Jardin en Méditerranée by Hermès

I hoped so much for this fraganse, so I was very sad to find out that it is not made for my skin, when I finally, on a travel, got the possibility to try it. It is obvious quallity, but don´t come out nice at all on me. There came even an obvious smoke-note after some minutes, who settled down after fifteen minutes.

Now my hope stands to Un Jardin sür le Nile, it smelled divine from the bottle, but it will take a long time until I get the possibility to try it on my skin...

UJdM gets a neutral thumb from me, as I can smell it is a quallity-fraganse. I envy all of you who wears it well!
16 May 2008

Elixir des Merveilles by Hermès

I got as bottle of this on a travel. Actually, I was looking for Eau de Merveilles, as so many here at BN is writing so well about it, but there where no possibility to try Eau dM, and I did really liked the Elixire, so I got it and the bodylotion. And I am so glad I did! This is true quallity!

Elixire dM is discreete, yet really speaking, and really longlasting, too. It sings in a complex way, too. I don´t find it a typical gourmand, as the food-notes are nice blended with other components, to a very special longlasting "song".

Two thumbs up from me! This can become a favourite of mine!
16 May 2008

Palazzo by Fendi

I liked Palazzo from the very first sniff, and after some months of sniffing I now own the EdP and the bodylotion. Palazzo is not as heavy as an oriental, but much heavier than most florals. Right now it is the strong fraganse i reach for. I hope it will be as nice for summer as it is for winter! Good work, Fendi!
16 May 2008

Eau Sauvage by Christian Dior

On a travel I got the possibility to try Eau Sauvage on DH:s skin. And I was totally breathtaken! This is the next bottle I will buy for him!!! I don´t find it old-fashion at all. It is really fresh and I do belive it is an easy-to-wear-frag, too. I never found anything like this yet... Haven´t tried it on my own skin yet, but I will when I get the possibility...
16 May 2008

Rubylips by Salvador Dali

Not a single "thumbs up" for Rubylips yet - I must change that immediately! This is a joyful beautiful frag, well done, the best of Dali´s perfumes avaliable right now, at least in my oppinion. - Maybee it is because of our different skin-chemistrys it appears different on us. Rubylips doas not comes out very sweet on my skin, even if very many frags are developing sweetnes on me. Red fruits, lovely drydown, medium staying power. Truly lovely bottle, the smallest perfect for the handbag. I am one of the lucky ones who wears this well! Try it before getting it!
16 May 2008

Burberry London by Burberry

I would like to love the Burberry fraganses, but most of them are too heavy and too sweet for my skin. The exception is Burberry London. I wear this one very well. It has a freshness who makes it work for me. Thumbs up, and perhaps a full bottle in the future.
20 April 2008

Agent Provocateur by Agent Provocateur

I would really like to love this one, but I don´t. It is way too strong for my skin. I envy them who carries it well! Thankfully I adore Agent Provocateur Eau Emotinoelle instead. Maitresse isn´t bad either, but Eau Emotionelle is my favourite among Agent Provocateur´s perfumes.
20 April 2008

Maitresse by Agent Provocateur

Maitresse is a little more fresh compared to Eau Emotionelle, it is also a little more conservative, and also lacks a bit of personality. This is on my skin, of course. I do prefer Eau Emotionelle, it is so joyfull. - As we all have different skins, try out your own favourite!
20 April 2008

Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune by Guerlain

I tried this perfume at once, the only time I have found it, and it was because of the good reviews it got here at Basenotes. And I am so glad I did! I adored it at once, and got a bottle! This is something I do very seldom! Pamplelune is a very unique frag, indeed. Most probably it will be my summerfragance next summer! It is such a pitty it is so hard to find other than a few Guerlain-perfumes in my country!
20 April 2008

Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf

Flowerbomb is not for my skin, it becomes way too sweet and too uninteresting. I am sorry.
20 April 2008

Rochas Femme (new) by Rochas

I am really sorry to say that this famous classic, Rochas Femme, don´t work on my skin at all. It just smells like a spizy cace, no fun or beautiful at all. Thankfully I wear Madame Rochas very well instead.
20 April 2008

Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood

I adore the bottle, and I would really like to adore the perfume, too, but it is not made for my skin. It becomes way too sweet when I wear it! I am really sorry!
20 April 2008

Gucci by Gucci by Gucci

Yes, I do like Gucci! It is much better than most new releses. It has it´s own tone, and is not made for the young people, I guess. I can imagin to get this one, but I wait a while, as I do have some classics that aren´t totally different.
19 April 2008

Prada (new) by Prada

Prada makes a clean impression on my skin, and I love that when it comes to woody orientals. If one doas not put too much on, this one even works for every-day-wear. It´s a very, very nice fragance! The problem is that only a little too much becomes horrible on my skin! I have tried for so long to use Prada, but finally I have given it up. But I can wear Prada Infusion d´Iris, who has quite a lot of Prada in the drydown. It will be my Prada in the future!
14 April 2008

Coco by Chanel

Coco is a big fraganse. It took me with storm, and I fell emidiatly in love with it. But it doas not work for me! I have realy tried for a long time to be able to wear it. Atfer more than a year I have given it up. It doas not suit my skin, it just becomes messy. Thankfully I can wear Samsara well, who is sort of the same fraganse, just better of on my skin.
14 April 2008

Versace by Versace

I find Versace a little bit dissapointing after being very fond of Bright Crystal and Crystal Noir. I usually like Versace´s frags, but I don´t this time. Don´t try just this one by Versace, so you don´t miss a nicer frag, just because of the elegant bottle of this one.
11 April 2008

Paris by Yves Saint Laurent

I am also very impressed by Paris longlivety. And I do like the smell of it very much. I will get a bottle sometines in the future, but today I have Stella Rose Absolute as my rose-fraganse, so I don´t have any need of Paris yet. When Stella Rose Absolute no longer is available, then Paris will move in to my wardrobe! - I do belive Paris will stay in the shops longer than Stella Rose Absolute...
11 April 2008

Trouble by Boucheron

I can´t wear this frag, it is such a pitty! It becomes too strong and sweet and cloying on my skin! I wish everyting didn´t turned out sweet on me! I envy all of you who loves this one! I suppose this is a well done frag, so I can´t give it a thumb down. Neutral from me.
11 April 2008

Prada Infusion d'Iris by Prada

Me, too, find Prada Infusion d´Iris outstanding. It is an oriental, gentle, but the oriental-theme is there beneath the other tones all the time, and gives the frag a mysterious touch.

I adore Prada(new), but find it a frag difficult to wear, as it is easy to put too much on, and then it becomes horrible on my skin. Prada Infusion d`Iris is much easier to wear.

The Iris-note is truly really beautiful!

Worn with the bodylotion, there is no problem with the longlivety.

I do hope this will become a classic!
10 April 2008

Baldessarini Ambré by Baldessarini

Baldessarini Ambré is my DH:s new favourite! It is not often he just likes a frag and wants it, (he is not as interested as I am in frags) but he has good taste anyhow! Baldessarini Ambré he finds better than many other fragances. Right now it is number one in his little collection of seven frags, and as I like it, too, I find it worth to write it down here at the Reviews. It is the best Baldessarini so far, we both think.
10 April 2008

Narciso Rodriguez for Her by Narciso Rodriguez

So finally I got the Narciso Rordigues for Her, almost two years after it´s release in my country! It took a while to be able to try the EdP, that is why. On my skin the EdT and the oil don´t come out at all, but the EdP do instead! The EdP is a high quallity perfume, really longlasting, and keeping it´s tone all the way! Perhaps this is what I like the very most about this perfume! It is quite silent, but there all the time! I wonder if this is a summerfrag as well, I hope so! Two thumbs up for Narciso Rodrigues for Her EdP.
10 April 2008

The Dreamer by Versace

I took notice of The Dreamer here at Basenotes, I smelled it several times, and I bougt it for DH when I found it at a very good price. And, yes, I am very glad I did! This is my favourite evening scent on him!

I can imagin to wear it mysef, as it is smooth, even if it is strong. A very interesting frag! I hope it will become a classic!
08 April 2008

Fuel For Life pour Femme by Diesel

Oh, dear, this is my style! I am trying really hard not buying this one! If it wasn´t for a number of chypres already being in my wardrobe, I would have bought this one already. Fluel for Life is a nouveau-chypre, if I have informed myself correct. It is a pitty it is so strongly market, it doas not feel exclusive at all! I have a 7 mL sample-bottle of it, so I can really make my mind up on this frag.
02 December 2007

Covet Sarah Jessica Parker by Sarah Jessica Parker

Being a pelargonium-addicted as well, Covet is a must for me! So very few female fragances has geranium as a note. And, yes, I can smell the scented pelargonium "Graveolens" the very first minute after application, than the note mixures with the others. The frag is fresh and easy to wear, and the bottle is really beautiful. I like Lovely more than Covet, but both have their places in my collection.
02 December 2007

Narciso Rodriguez for Him by Narciso Rodriguez

Haven´t bought NR "for Her" to myself, but managed to talk DH into buing NR "for Him"! And I am really happy he did! It is a different frag, very silent, but there all the time, and adorable for me to sniff during the day! It really suits his skin! Worth a try!
02 December 2007

No. 5 by Chanel

I must write a new review for No 5! I wrote before it is too oldfashion to wear. I don´t think so no more, I find No 5 really wearable, and a really beauty! The only product I don´t enjoy is the EdT, it is too sharp for my nose and on my skin, but the EdP and the parfume are totally adorable. They are also easy to wear, suits most situations. The bodylotion and bodycream are also really wonderful! No wonder this is the most sold perfume over the world!
02 December 2007

No. 19 by Chanel

I have waited half a year to write this review, because this fragance has became very, very special for me. I never expected to find a Holy Graal, when I started my deep interest in pefumes one and a half year ago, but I have actually found one! I have got several bottles after No 19, but nothing can take No 19´s place in my heart. I guess it is the coplexity in this frag I am so fond of. Owning both the EdP, EdT, deo and bodylotion, I can make No 19 suitable for every situation. This is the frag that puted an end on me buying so many bottles, and instead started the redusing of my perfume collection. Thank you, Chanel, for have created such a magic fragance!

If it was possinble, No 19 would get three thumbs up from me.
23 June 2007

Magie Noire by Lancôme

Have Magie Noir been reformulated? I don´t recognise it from the late 70:s and early 80:s, when I deeply loved it, and finnished two 100 mL bottles. I don´t like it at all today, to my really great surprice!

Or is it me geting older, and having a different skin-chemisrty?
19 May 2007

Kenzo Amour by Kenzo

I find Kenzo Amour a little bit too one-dimentioned. It is really pleasant, an obvious quality-fragance, but not exiting at all. It is a perfect every-day-fragance, when you don´t want to offend others. I adore the fuchsia-coloured bottle, though!
19 May 2007

Mitsouko by Guerlain

If you are new to fragances, you will not get impressed by Mitsouko if you only sniff the bottle or smell it from a paper. You must let this fragance be placed on your skin, to smell the beauty! - I neglected this masterpeace for almost a year, being a perfumeaddicted, because I just sniffed it from the bottle. But the first time I tried it on my skin, I immediatley realized this magicly beautyful fragance must have a place in my wardrobe of perfumes!

I have the EdT, and I don´t know if it is the new or old formula, but I love it! The other concentations I will have to find abroad, as they are not sold in my country...
19 May 2007

Shalimar by Guerlain

Shalimar was my big, big france-love during winter 2006-07. I have the EdT and the bodylotion, and both are absolutley wonderful. This is really a magic fragance! - But I reasently tried the EdP, and it doas not work at all on my skin! It first comes out smelling nothing but smoke, and after one hour it is nothing but sweet. - I might get the possibility to try the perfume soon, and I am really hoping it will work better on my skin than the EdP. The perfumes are supposed to be more gentle and more "round", and also closer to the skin compared to the EdP:s.
19 May 2007

Trussardi Inside Woman by Trussardi

Notes for Trussardi Inside for Woman from osMoz:
Top: Bergamot, Nut Leaf, Rose-Bay
Hart: Coffee, Freesia, Heliotrope
Base: Teak, Amber, Musk
A gourmad, I suppose, as the coffe note is obvious. The teak note is also easy to identfy. This is a different scent, elegant, longlasting and easy to wear. I don´t get the feeling of "caramell" wearing it, as I get from other gourmads, wich is a plus! Have almost finnished my sample, and I am getting a bottle of this, when I get the possibility. Not an easy perfume to find where I live...
17 May 2007

Wish Turquoise Diamond by Chopard

Got a sample of Chopard Wish Turquoise Diamond. At first try, I didn´t like it at all, but at secound try, it did grow for me. It has an obvious body, and the pear-note is clear and not overly sweet. I guess this is a floral fruity. I don´t think I will buy this fragance, but I will use up my sample. It gets a thumbs up for using pear in a good way.
06 May 2007

Aigner Black for Women by Etienne Aigner

Got Aigner Black for Women on a travel abroad, fell for it at once, and had to decide to get it or not, so I got it. I haven´t found any notes for it, but as the name suggests, it is a black scent. It could be an oriental-floral, but it is quite light, so I guess it can be floral fruity with some black fruits, too. Agnier Black for Woman is really fresh and clean, witch is nice for a black frag, and it reminds me quite a bit of Prada, it just isn´t so heavy, and it is easier to wear. The only thing not so good with it is the longlivety, who isn´t so good on my skin, still absolutley worth a thumbs up!
06 May 2007

Stella by Stella McCartney

Oh, what a truly beautiful Rose-fragance! I am breath-taken!

There are severale versions of it, and many likes the Absolu and the In Two Peony the best, but I don´t agree, I like Stella the very best.

It has not so good longlivety, but used with the bodylotion, the longlivety decreeses much!

I would like to make it a staple in my wardrobe, but to my great fear, I see this frag is already not in the stores as much as before, so I guess it is on it´s way out! I would miss it terrible, if I can´t find it any more!
06 May 2007

Cristalle Eau de Parfum by Chanel

Cristalle EdP is a little "warmer" than the EdT, more suitable for colder days. I haven´t found any notes for Cristalle EdP, but I find some similaritys with this fragance and JPG Fragile EdT, and I wonder if it perhaps is Bergamot or Tubéreuse I am smelling...? (I would like to have a better nose, so I didn´t have to make so wild guesses...)

The EdP is getting harder to find, and it is a pitty, it is really bottleworthy! I do hope Chanel continues to produce both the EdT and the EdP. Both are of great quality.
06 May 2007

Le Baiser du Dragon by Cartier

A very special fragance, the very best of the Cartier-perfumes, at least on my skin and to my nose. The scent of almond, from the Amaretto, is the most lovely with this perfume, IMHO! On my skin, this fragance is not strong at all, still it has great staying-power. I find it a high quality fraganse. I got it early this winter, and to my great joy I find it is suitable for spring and early summer, too! I have the EdP, and I am dreaming about the perfume!

If it was possible, Le Baiser du Dragon would get two thumbs up from me.
06 May 2007

Blu Notte by Bulgari

Perhaps Bulgari´s best perfume, at least IMHO....! And already hard to find in the stores, on it´s way out...? Thera are too many perfumes prodused, when this one no longer is available, introdused only three years ago! It´s on my wishlist, and I will get it the next time I find it, but I will have to go abroad to find it!
06 May 2007

V Absolu by Valentino

Comparing Valentino V and Valentiono V Absolu, I do prefer Valentino V. These two perfumes are quite similar, IMHO. For the very first hour Valentino V Absolu is a tiny bit more beautiful on my skin, but it is for the next seven hours Valentino V is the most beautiful.

Both perfumes are very wearable, so if you don´t want an as small perfumewardrobe as possible, you can have great joy owning both! These two quarter-cirkle-shaped bottles, one clear and one red, makes a lovely pair in a perfumewardrobe!

Valention V Absolu gets a thumbs up from me!
06 May 2007

Rock 'n Rose by Valentino

Being a fan of Valentino V, I had to try this one as soon as I got a possibility! IMHO Rock´n Rose is a "younger" version of V, with the same kind of beauty, and it is something I will get if/when V no longer is available!
06 May 2007

Cristalle Eau de Toilette by Chanel

Cristalle EdT is the closest I have got to Ma Griffe, who was the first fraganse I ever owned, many, many years ago. It is a pitty I can´t compare them, as I don´t own Ma Griffe today, but they must be very similar. The feeling of freshnes and brightnes Cristalle gives me is the very same feeling I remember so well from wearing Ma Griffe. I can´t find Ma Griffe, it is not for sale in my country, so I am really very happy for having found Cristalle EdT instead.
26 April 2007

L'Heure Bleue by Guerlain

What is there to say that isn´t already said about wonderful L´Heure Bleu...? Yes, there is something! I find this old perfume very different from today´s, because it follows my emotion of the moment in a way today´s perfumes don´t do. It just takes place on my skin, and becomes a part of me! Some persons are talking about L´Heure Bleu as a sad scent. I do not agree at all. On my skin, it strengthen my temporary emotion, and makes me feel even more myself. It is a wonderful experience to wear L´Heure Bleu!

I have not owned L´Heure Bleu for long, so I might write another review later, when I know it even better.
22 April 2007

Samsara by Guerlain

On my skin Samsara EdT is a fresh oriental, suitable almost all year around. It is potent, so at work I only wear it as bodylotion and deo. Samsara is an obvious Guerlain, speaking to my emotions, being exiting and komplex, and is also very longlasting. Thanks to the reviews here at BN, I am happy with "just" the EdT, and I will not get the stronger koncentations. It is the freshness of Samsara who appeals to me.

This fragance is DH:s favourite fragance on me. If I could, I would give it two thumbs up.
22 April 2007

Infiniment by Chopard

Infiniment is a floral-woody musk. The notes - according to osMoz - are:

Top: Petitgrain, Calbrian Bergamot, Szechuan Pepper.
Heart: Bulgarian Rose, Toberose Absolut, Lotus Blossom.
Base: Siameze Bensoin, Sandalwood, Musks.

To my nose, on my skin, it is clear, calm, devout and luxurious, a true beauty, Why hasn´t anyone written a review about it before me? Is it hard to find?
11 April 2007

Eau Dynamisante by Clarins

A very pleasant every-day-scent, never offending anyone, yet quite unique and a really pleasure to wear. It is really beautiful and fresh, and wearing it really lifts your spirit! The bodylotion is possible to wear with other perfumes. This easy-to-wear-fragance will always be in my collection!
11 April 2007

Intimately Beckham Women by Beckham

The first good thing with this perfume is the price, it is really price-worthy! The frag itself is really beautiful, too, flowery and with a lovely "twist" of personality. It is longlasting, too. It is an unusual welldone frag! I find it really great to create such a lovely frag for such a low price.
29 December 2006

Omnia by Bulgari

A beautiful, sort of "quiet" oriental, easy to wear, not sweet, more dry, and longlasting, too. The bodylotion is really good! There are more exiting orientals, but I really like this one, as it don´t effend the people around you, yet being a real oriental.
29 December 2006

Agent Provocateur Eau Emotionelle by Agent Provocateur

What a pitty this is a limited edition! I am so glad for it, as I find Agent Provocateur a unique beautiful fraganse, but too strong for me. Eau Emotionelle is a lighter version, very wearable and quite longklasting on my skin, it lasts for about six-seven hours. I do hope AP reconsider this one, and let it be in the ordinary sortiment. If they don´t, I will miss it very much when I finished my bottle.
29 December 2006

Insolence by Guerlain

Insolence is so very much Guerlain!!! It speaks with the same voice as the old Guerlain-classics, but sings in a new, joyfull and happy tone. Insolence is best compared to L´Heure Bleu from 1919, IMO. On my skin, these two fragances are very much alike. Insolence is also as longlasting as L´Heure Bleu.

My compliments to Guerlain, for making a modern fragance in the same concept as their oldest classics! I would give Insolence two thumbs up, if it was possible!
03 December 2006

V by Valentino

Yes, there is some similarity between V and Hugo Deep Red. It´s the drydown who has something alike. But V is more beautiful and clear. One can find the same note in the drydown in Infiniment Chopard, too, IMO. Infiniment is the most beautiful of these tree, but it´s also the most expensive. V is a reasonable prised beautiful every-day-fragans. I love it!

Bright Crystal by Versace

It seems like I am a Versace-fan! I do like Bright Crystal very much, as I do with other Versace-frags!
The first sniff was a dissapointment. Just another floral... It was after 15 minutes I started to like it. And I liked it more and more the longer it was on my skin. The drydown is almost powdery and beautiful, and also very longlasting on me.
If you are interested in this frag. give it at least a try on your skin, and let i develop for several hours before you form an opinion abut it.
Thums up for Bright Crystal from Versace-fan Margareta.

Roma by Laura Biagiotti

I have worn this scent for several years back in the late 80´s and early 90´s. Love this one! I have a bottle again, and I wear it quite often. I find this one fresh and light, even if it is an oriental, and that is really fun! It´s quite loud, but the freshnes makes it very wearable. It has really great personality!

Serpentine by Roberto Cavalli

I do like Serpentine. It´s an oriental-floral, quite soft, not loud, not specially sweet, good for day-wear and at work. Got it on a holliday-trip to Malta, and it was the frag I liked the most in the perfumestore, who had some brands I can´t buy at home. Very beautiful bottle! - By the way: I am not fond of Armani Sensi, it´s too rough for me :-) !

Miss Dior Chérie by Christian Dior

Very elegant! Miss Dior Chérie reminds me of Lovely by SJP and Armani City Glam, but this frag has a very attractive acid note, which makes it the most elegant of these three frags, IMO. Very easy to wear, always right, on evenings too, IMO.

Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker

Lovely is a very special frag. It is always right, can be worn at all occations, every day, at work, at partys, and also when one want to make a serious impression. I think Lovely is a clever, an intelligent frag with great personality! There is no vanilla in it, so it is, IMO, very suitable to layer above other frags, witch opens up very many new frag-possibilitys. I hope this one stays on being popular, so it don´t disappeare from the stores after a year or two.

In Black by J del Pozo

A really fun and nice perfume, this one makes me happy! One of the few perfumes I decided to get by the first sniff, and the love holds on. The bottle is very nice, too, and protekt the fluid from light, so it can stand on my chest of drawers, witch is an extra plus.

Crystal Noir by Versace

Crystal Noir's name is very well chosen. It's an oriental-floral, who turns out dark and very clear, not at all powdery or velvet. Crystal-clear, one can say... It is very longlasting, too. I am very fond of this fragance. The bottle, who is beautiful, is made by almost black glass, so it can stand on my chest of drawers, I don't have to hide it from day-light. This is an extra plus.

Pleasures Exotic by Estée Lauder

Less sweet than other new-released fruity variations of already exisiting perfumes. This one is really elegant! Better than the original, in my opinion, more "loud", yet fresh. The bottle - well, perhaps not the most beautiful, but really easy to bring along on travels. Thumbs up for this fresh fruity fragance.

Acqua di Giò by Giorgio Armani

I don't understand why Armani's fragances aren't higher rated! Some of them are really fantastic, in my opinion. This one is really fresh and beautiful, and the only fragance with Lilly of the Valley that I like. This note feels all the time during the drydown. Stays on quite long, too. Easy to wear, perfect for every-day-use, beautiful enough for evenings during spring and summer.

Jaguar (new) by Jaguar

I find this fragance really nice, not at all worth the negative reviewes! It's not the most beautiful fragance around, but it is really well done, and sort of classic and clean. It's not a common fragance, either. Balanced, comforing and longlasting. A very good every-day-fragance. Some of the writers call it a summerfragance, but I think it works all year. Love it on my husband!

Rykiel Woman by Sonia Rykiel

A charming, really cozy fragance! It has great personallity! I have seen it classified as an Oriental-Spicey. At Internet I have found these notes:

Top: Pink Pepper, Violet, Date.
Heart: Jasmine Petals, Solar Flowers, Bulgarian Rose, Black Pepper.
Base: Olibanum, Agarwood, Leather, Amber.

It's not so very strong, so it's easy to wear, and it's always right. Longlasting, too, and the bottle is pretty fun!

Jeans Couture Woman by Versace

I found these notes for Jeans Couture Femme at Internet:

Top: Orange flower, Mandarin, Plum.
Heart: Freesia, Iris, Black Jasmine
Base: Woody notes of Heilotrope, Sandalwood and Vetviuer, also Musk.

This ofragance is surprisingly longlasting, too.

Versace Woman by Versace

I'm very fond of Versace's fragances. They are very charmfull, and really fun to wear. I guess they turn to a younger public, they are play-full, and I enjoy that! I don't feel too old for them! Versace Woman is the most elegant of them all.

Gucci Eau de Parfum II by Gucci

For me Guccy stands for class and style. I was very dissapointed when I didn't like Guccy Eau de Parfum I. It turns out very lovely after two hours, but them first two hours it is very much too sharp for me. I was so glad when I liked Guccy Eau de Parfum II! It's a very personal fragance. I guess it's the Bitter Orange I'm very fond of. Stays on for very long, too. Thumbs up!

Ispahan by Yves Rocher

Not so expensive, not so exklusive, and yet a very nice fragans, a bit oriental. Well worth the price!
15 January 2006

Venise / Venice by Yves Rocher

This is not an expensive fragans, and the smell is of course not so very exclusive, but it is very nice anyhow. It is warm and a little mysterious, very well worth the price!

Attraction by Lancôme

Oh, no, this one must get a "thumb up" too! It's a beautiful, lovely fragans, with great personality, as Lancome-fraganses usulaly have. It's flowery but also has vanilla, amber and musk in it. It's a very good all-round-fragans, disctere enough for daytime wear, exiting enough for evenings! The bottle is pretty, too!

J'Adore by Christian Dior

J'adore is wonderful on my skin, very discret yet very beautiful. I guess this one is very different on different persons. This is the scent I get most compliments for, and I like it very much myself. I must give it a thumb up, cause j'adore J'adore!
14 January 2006

Boucheron by Boucheron

This one is not for me. It's really a wonderful, classy fragans, but lacks a bit of charm placed on my skin. It's a pitty, the bottle is very beautiful!

Fragile Eau de Toilette by Jean Paul Gaultier

Hi, Alika61!
I agree with you, Fragile EdT is really elegant and classy. Easy to wear, never wrong, and with a charming pesronality.
Fragile EdP is a bit heavier and sweeter, but is also a lovely fragans with elegans, class, charm and personality.
I have them both! EdT is a wonderful fragans during the day, and EdP is great for evenings.
14 January 2006

Eau Svelte by Christian Dior

Love this smell! It's not complicated, but it has a lot of personality and selfconfidens. It is both sweet and frech and is a little bit mysterious! Have never found the perfume, but adore the deodorant and the body treatment fragans. Is a fan since ten years!
14 January 2006

Fragile by Jean Paul Gaultier

This is a very special scent, quite discreet but with great personality. The EdT is very different from the EdP, and both are very nice. The EdP is sweeter, and better of on evenings. The EdT is a wonderful every-day-fragans.

Cinéma by Yves Saint Laurent

This is a very nice fragans, classic, rich and elegant. I have a 10 mL bottle I received as a gift from a Perfume-store, so I have tried it quite many times. On my skin it doas not become so wonderful as I want a perfume to be, I'm afraid. It misses some personality worn on me, so I will only rate this one as neutral.
14 January 2006

Minotaure by Paloma Picasso

One of my favs on my husband! Soft and sweet, yet very male! Pitty it's hard to find this one today.
14 January 2006

Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden

A very special fragans. Don't smell like anythig else, not at all like a traditional perfume, just wonderful and frech, with a hint of fruitiness. Sometimes people ask what that wonderful smell is, not guessing it's a perfume... A fragans with great personality, my favourite Arden. Perfect for day-wear. Not long-lasting, though, so it's best to bring the bottle along in the handbag.
14 January 2006

L'Instant de Guerlain by Guerlain

Love this one! Is on my secound bottle! This has been my evening-fragans for the latest years, in witch I feel beautifully "dressed". My favourite Guerlain! Not so heavy yet rich and komplex and with a wonderful vanilla tone. Stays on for a very long time.
14 January 2006

Emporio Armani City Glam for Her by Giorgio Armani

Really fun and wonderful, a fragans that makes me happy, and the bottle (the only not-so-good with this fragans, cause of the pink color) is perfect for the handbag and bringing along on travels. Stays on for many hours. I like all four of Armanis life-style-perfumes for woman, but this one is the one I like the most. Perfect for day-wear. Possible for evenings too, cause of the elegans.
14 January 2006

Cristobal by Balenciaga

Great fragans! Have had it fot a cupple of weeks, and is very much attached! An autumn/winter-fragans, I guess, and an evening, too, yet not too strong. Very warm and elegant. Stays on for very many housr. Fond of the vanilla, who becomes lovely together with the other components. The bottle is a real beauty!
