The Dreamer by Versace
It took some time for me to like this cologne. At first the top notes were just too much for me to handle. I literally went and tried to wash it off. I didn't give up on it though. The beauty of this cologne is definitely the dry-down. It is amazing, albeit a good 20 minutes after applying before you can realize this. Staying power is very impressive. I still pick up hints of it while i'm in the shower. I'm not sure about the warnings for over-applying. I usually need two sprays to the wrist and two to the neck, while Dolce "By" I normally stop at just two to the wrist and use them to apply to the neck. Overall Dreamer is a great cologne, but I still hold Dolce "By" in higher respect. I have yet to be complimented outright with Dreamer, while "By" has brought several compliments and a literal attack on my neck by a complete stranger.

Acqua di Giņ pour Homme by Giorgio Armani
This is a good cologne. But it is used so often that I have come to hate the scent. I smell it 5-10 times a day on campus. This is a problem: a great cologne should smell different on different people. I myself have worn it, but don't intend to ever again for this reason.

Envy for Men by Gucci
A good scent. The complexity really shines through on drydown. At first I am blown away by cedar, which borders on obnoxious. I was pleasantly surprised when that backed way off after about 15 minutes. Too sophisticated for casual though. Fit for a suit or a classy night out.

Fierce for Men by Abercrombie & Fitch
As a 21 year-old this isn't a bad cologne. The packaging is stupid though. Too many people wear it, and the smell never evolves. Still...not a bad daytime to wear to class.

Let this beast dry down and you're in. You will be complimented. Very good bar/clubbing fragrance indeed. Well worth the purchase.
