    Eau du Soir by Sisley

Luca and Turin call this a "cheap chypre". I couldn't disagree more. To me it is absolutely gorgeous; smells luxurious and classy. My current number 1.

    Ysatis by Givenchy

Reminds me of the 80s when perfumes had a bit of oomph. Not quite a sledge-hammer though, it has a softness, this semi-sweet oriental. Nice for nights out or just when you want to be noticed.

Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger by Prada

I liked this fragrance well enough while it lasted. Nice and fresh and not sweet at all. It seems to have a similar base to Infusion dÍris. I prefer Infusion d'Iris as it has more character, body, projection and considerably more longevity.

    Prada Infusion d'Iris by Prada

I dont usually tend to like powdery fragrances but love Infusion d'Iris. I think its the softness combined with the chypre base that has me hooked. Plus it has good longevity and sillage, which is great given that a lot of fragrances tend to die prematurely on my skin.

    Black Orchid by Tom Ford

Yuck, this "fragrance" is awful. Lovely bottle though.

    24, Faubourg by Hermès

I tested this fragrance at a department store a couple of weeks ago and it was wow, I've got to have this one! After lusting after it for weeks I have just purchased a bottle. Definitely sophisticated as others have mentioned and probably wouldnt appeal to the youger audience. Actually, I cant add anything to the wonderful descriptions here already. its classy, french, confident - perfect for a stroll along rue de Faubourg in the fall.

    Eau de Rochas by Rochas

I thought that I would like it as I like green and citrus and patchouli.. However it doesnt work for me. It smells very much like an old lady scent to meI Thank goodness I only spent $5 on my sample. Maybe my sample was off, but I don't feel inclined to give it another try....

Gucci Eau de Parfum II by Gucci

I wear this to the office most days. Its light, soft and fresh. And bound not to offend anyone. The berries give it a bit of a kick that for me stops it from wandering into boring territory. Reasonably long-lasting on me.

Love the bottle design and colour of the juice.

    Envy by Gucci

I've only recently tried Gucci Envy and its made me realise how fabulous green florals can be. Love it and hope to purchase a bottle soon.

Cristalle Eau de Toilette by Chanel

A truly stunning fragrance. Starts off quite green reminding me of fresh cut flowers. Dries down to a lovely soft and feminine bouquet. Unfortunately, as with most fragrances, Cristalle is not long lasting on me and has no sillage to speak of but my clothes seem to hold the scent longer and smell gorgeous when I "accidently" spray them when dousing myself.

Narciso Rodriguez for Her by Narciso Rodriguez

After reading reviews on Basenotes I was inspired to order an EDP sample from TPC. I am disappointed that on my skin Narciso Rodriguez smells nothing like other people's experiences of it. A subdued pleasant enough rose note. No musk that I can detect. My skin's chemistry just doesn't work with this fragrance I guess...

    Lolita Lempicka by Lolita Lempicka

I really love how warm and comforting this fragrance is. But definitely unusual - with this fragrance you will stand out from the crowd. For me its sweet spicy creaminess makes it perfect for colder weather. Its not too heavy or cloying or too sweet - just delicious!
