Yes, it is undoubtedly a smell of pencil shavings! And I admire this odour which right away returns me to my youth when I used to sharpen a huge number of pencils (for college descriptive geometry study). :) So it's a sort of "nostalgia-defiant" scent and I can't get rid of that feeling.

My vision of GPH is clear, rich and dense fragrance that undeniably worth being possessed. Still if you are not as fond of descriptive geometry as I am ;) beware of "buy-without-try".

My overall impression of it might be expressed as ìdualityî. In my opinion the scent is simultaneously soft and sharp, formal and casual, cold and warm. Unfortunately, in this case I wouldnít say about ìmultipurpose scentî but rather describe it as ìunder-weighed oneî. It seems to me the scentís father had a vague notion on what should it be, or some irrelevant influence occurred while creating.
Iím not so familiar with notes but I see a little way for detecting leather in it. Be that as it may, the scent touched me and Iíll surely wear it more than once.
