This really does smell like clean skin, only better. I bought the oil so I could wear perfume in non-perfume situations (e.g doctor's appointment). A little dab is all you need. This fragrance is blessedly free of the carpet shampoo note I get in other "clean" fragrances.

This is my calming fragrance. Based on the notes and reviews, I expected a glamourous, intense fragrance. Although it lasts well, it is not overpowering at all. It reminds me of something my grandfather wore, and yet it is not at all masculine.

This perfume is richer and sweeter than Lolita Lempicka, although closely related. Drydown is wonderful-sweet and not just vanilla. I don't get much licorce/anice out of this, but then I didn't get much out of Lolita Lempicka either. If you wear LL, try this.
