Parfum Sacré by Caron
OK: as a guy, I do strange things with women's perfumes... but try this one: spray (or dab) a tiny bit on a lamp shade of a dimmed light in the corner of the room at Christmas time - Everone (and I everyone) will go crazy trying to find out what that incredible smell is and where its coming from! So many levels, so many shades and nuances... all warm and by-the-fireplace-like, and very festive and rich!

Eau d'Orange Verte by Hermès
This is much older - but sold under another name (same bottle).
Great stuff for that "clean & fresh spring day" feeling.
Have had disappointments with the EdT - the bottle sprays fine for a few days, then turns into a water pistol stream that doesn't even spray straight, but rather at a wierd, unpredictable angle. Oh well, when that happens, my left ear lobe smells great - as does the wall behind me!

Habit Rouge by Guerlain
Insence .. lots of warm insence on glowing coals in an old cathedral..not at all feminine. Warm, very warm.
It's what I'd consider a male version of Parfum Sacre by Caron.
WOuld also siúit the man next to a lady wearing Mitsuoko.
