Aedes de Venustas Eau de Parfum by Aedes de Venustas

WOW! I tried this at the store a couple of weeks ago, and was mesmerized, could not wait to get my hands on it. It was finally released today,YAAY!
The scent plays out like a drier Jubilation XXV (also Bertrand D ) , the incense is mellowed out quite nicely, by a ginger like note, tons of Myrrh. Very restrained, and unique. dark yet radiant. Very highly Recommended.

Tubereuse 40 by Le Labo

I don't get any tuberose, however, it's a perfect neroli scent, ton of rounded citrus, and white flower petals. Incredible sillage, and dry down. the price is outrageous. I think it's worth it.

Love the clean Heliotrope note that comes in 15 minutes into the scent, this is a comfort scent which can be worn anytime.

French Lover / Bois d'Orage by Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle

Wow! this is the first lame FM scent, no attitude, no sillage, 7% concentration. I don't get it. It doesn't smell niche to me. don't waste your money.

Update- Spoke to Frederic Malle last week about this scent, and the disappointment with the sillage, and dry down........I LOVE IT WHEN I"M RIGHT!!! he did say that he adjusted the concentration to it's original strengh 9%. to make it stronger, he also adjusted the formula.....right from the horse's mouth! P-natra however, that sweet basenote that comes in at the end, does not fit the opening or heart of the composition, and while it lasts, it stays too close to the skin thus, Skinscent. I still think that it's a failed fragrance. if you want to spend 200. on a skinscent with lame projection..this one for you.
THUMBS WAY DOWN!! however, tried Escentric02 last week as well. Now this engine purrs stays dry to the end, and has a stronger TONIC effect for almost half the price.

Gaultier² by Jean Paul Gaultier

BA-BOOM!!! Big ,bold, and beautifull...finally a wearable Musc ravageur. I can't stop wearing this one.
Now deepthought, only Americans would think of this as a "gay" scent. Last time I looked, straight boys are looking gayer than gay boys. As for a scent that smells gay, it's got all the girls in my life hot, and bothered. GO FIGURE.

Kingdom by Alexander McQueen

Why someone would want to smell like an 80 year old hooker, with ripped fishnet stockings, is beyond me....

Beyond Paradise for Men by Estée Lauder

"WOW"!!perfect summer scent, misty and cool all the way through, top notes are hard to describe, almost a celery, mango floral, which morphs into a deep driftwood heart, this scent realy evolves into an otherworldly, and gorgeous dream........VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Original Vetiver by Creed

My new absolute fave, the house of creed has created the most unusual (and wonderful)vetiVert scent. I have been wearing vetivert extraordinare by frederic Male for a couple of years. This however is very different, starts of with light citrus notes, which soon develop into a wonderfully relaxed Green woody aura. Great staying power....WAY TO GO!
