| | Frank No. 2 by Frank Los AngelesThis is a richer and more spicy version of Chanel Allure. And did I mention it lasts for more than 24 hours on my skin? Giving it full thumbs up! 6th June, 2010. (Last Edited: 18th August, 2010.) |
| | Anvers by Ulrich LangThis is very modern and complex scent. I detect green notes, violet like Narciso Rodriguez for him and smokey notes. Very unique. Thumbs up 6th June, 2010. |
| | Narciso Rodriguez for Him by Narciso RodriguezMy best violet scent. This is good and unique! 31st March, 2010. |
| | Chergui by Serge Lutens Les Salons du Palais Royal ShiseidoCould not stand the first hour but it got better with time, liked the ambery drydown and the waft of tobacco. Nice but very unwearable for me. Giving it a neutral for a very challenging opening. 31st March, 2010. |
| | M7 by Yves Saint LaurentI absolutely love this stuff. The best cough syrup I have smelled! Seriously, it beats a lot of "niche" oud scents out there and I keep recommending it to friends with nobody disappointed thus far. Full thumbs up! 31st March, 2010. (Last Edited: 4th April, 2010.) |
| | Bond No.9 Perfume Oud by Bond No. 9Where is the oud? To call this underwhelming is an overstatement and this can go for any freshie in the market for 1/10th the price. Longevity was 2 hours on my skin and the whole thing disappeared with no trace. This is a waste of time and a waste of money. Double thumbs down 23rd March, 2010. (Last Edited: 3rd April, 2010.) |
| | Encre Noire by LaliqueThis is the absolute best vetiver fragrance I have ever come across. It smells so raw and earthy!!! I have been researching vetiver scents and I narrowed my pick to L'occitane vetyver and Encre noire, both are excellent, but ended up picking Encre Noire because its just so brutal and raw. Don't get me wrong, L'occitane is not timid but I just had to go with Encre Noire. Its simply the best. Period!!! 16th March, 2010. |
| | L'Air du Desert Marocain by TauerOoops my old review below the dotted lines. Haha 4th March, 2010. (Last Edited: 9th October, 2011.) |
| | Noël au Balcon by Etat Libre d'OrangeThis is the best I have tried from ELDO. It starts out with a honeyed orange (I am not too good with notes) and then it transitions into spices. There is nothing groundbreaking in the scent but it is very well done and like other ELDO scents. This last a very long time on me. 28th February, 2010. |
| | Dzing! by L'Artisan ParfumeurThis stuff smells terrible. Smells like bandage and reminds me of hospitals. I sincerely hate this Fragrance 20th February, 2010. |
| | Havana by AramisOk changing my review to thumbs up. My wife loves the vanillic dry down, it is amazing! Obviously I wasn't patient enough on my original review. This rightfully matches up to the hype if you overlook the busy topnotes. 23rd December, 2009. (Last Edited: 28th February, 2010.) |
| | Grey Vetiver by Tom FordThis is a modern vetiver. Not as harsh as Guerlain's vetiver but also not timid either. Perfect!!! 15th November, 2009. (Last Edited: 4th March, 2010.) |
