| | Tam Dao by DiptyqueIt is really really good I just hoped it stayed a bit longer on the skin... 2nd March, 2005. |
| | Visit by AzzaroGood but a little too familiar...! If you mix Gucci Rush and Bulgari Homme you might get something like this.... 11th March, 2004. |
| | Bulgari pour Homme by BulgariI used to wear it like mad about 6-7 years ago and so did my girlfriend at the time...It is a unique dry scent and at the same time has a synthetical-medicinal quality about it...But the drydown is quite watery fading into some type of light musk woody accord...Fetishy... 28th February, 2004. |
| | Bulgari Black by BulgariResins, leathers and animals rounded by smoked tea, some herbs and bergamot. How could I not like this since it was created by my favourite perfumer Annick Menardo.Jazzy... 28th February, 2004. |
| | Touch for Men by BurberryThe only fragrance I know that has violet and I don't hate...I used to wear it a couple of years ago but I must admitt didn't get very good comments when I was wearing it...You could say it's a much lighter version of Fahrenheit...lightly musky 9th January, 2004. |
| | Life Essence by FendiVery typical of the time it was launched, aquatic, clean,citrusy...BUT when the base middle notes begin to develop you have a warm almost oriental drydown!!Unpredictable.. 8th January, 2004. |
| | Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin by Lolita LempickaAnnick Menardo is definitely my ultimately favourite perfumer with her "hypnotic poison" masterpiece...She also created this one which happens to be a very familiar smell...It reminds me of the caraway cookies my grandmother used to make...It can be a bit cloying if you apply too much but that's only due to the violet....(why would you ruin such a beautiful composition by using the most boring ingredient in perfumery ie.violet!!!). It would have been the best without it but still Is really good!!!(I much prefer it to Rochas Man).... 5th January, 2004. |
| | Versace Man by VersaceA sweet spicy but above all elegant composition. I particularly like the saffron note in it! However the base accords are a bit flat and that's where this perfume is lacking!!!Pity because this is very close to being perfect... 28th December, 2003. (Last Edited: 5th January, 2004.) |
| | Eau Parfumée au Thé Blanc by BulgariVery innocent, clean and a little boring! Not bad for a casual Sunday afternoon... 28th December, 2003. |
| | Heliotrope by EtroVery elegant and original! Bittersweet!! 28th December, 2003. |
| | Sentiment for Men by EscadaI thought the nineties was over what is this average aqua-scent doing now??? Oh please... 28th December, 2003. |
| | Gucci pour Homme by GucciVery nice I adore the cumin note in it...Quite original for these days... 28th December, 2003. |
| | Yohji Homme by Yohji YamamotoApparently many favourite ingredients (ie.liquorice, rum etc.) but a very bland result (I ended up giving it away to a friend)! 28th December, 2003. |
| | Sculpture Homme by NikosHorrid, plastic and synthetic... 28th December, 2003. |
| | Salvatore Ferragamo pour Homme by Salvatore FerragamoWhen I first smelt it I fell in love with it but a few months later I couldn't stand it anymore...It would give me such a bad headache...And eventhough I was trying to force myself to like it I ended up giving it to a friend with great relief....Too sweet and very very dense.... 28th December, 2003. |
| | Rush for Men by GucciIt is a very simple scent...Sandalwood,Cedarwood and Incense harmonising very quietly...That's good enough for me... 28th December, 2003. |
| | Rochas Man by RochasWhen I first tried it I thought it was far too sweet with not enough spice in it. I ended up buying it since I love vanilla scents. A couple of months down the line I got a bit fed up with it since everybody wears it these days! The scent itself is nice very close to being perfect but something seems to be missing that ruins everything!!! If it wasn't for that mocca in the base u wouldn't be able to distinguish it from Le Male (JPG).I'd personally prefer something more individual... 28th December, 2003. |
| | Minotaure by Paloma PicassoVery typical of its time...However I still like the leather note in the base, I only wish there wasn't so much orange and tangerine in the top... 28th December, 2003. |
| | Laguna Homme by Salvador DaliI usually go for heavy orientals so this is an exception to my perfume collection since it is exceptionally well blended...It smells so much like the female version that was launched in the early nineties which I am very glad about...It is a very uplifting scent (also very similar to DIESEL FEMININE)... 28th December, 2003. |
| | Jungle pour Homme by KenzoBittersweet, different and aggresive...LOVELY ... 28th December, 2003. |
| | Déclaration by CartierBeautiful, elegant and complex...It sums up the meaning of good taste! 28th December, 2003. |
| | Cacharel Pour L'Homme by CacharelIt's soooo eighties!!! Woodsy,spicy with a light floral heart!!They don't make perfumes like this anymore... 28th December, 2003. |
