Strange, it reminds me of dark damp church cellars. Must be some sort of deeply implanted Irish racial memory. I have never been inside of an ancient religious edifice, but I recognise the scent? Hypnotic and mesmerising. Evocotive, but of what? Guilt, death, silence, earth? Hmm..

Reminds me of cedar chips in hamster cage when I was small. Strange that it would be such an enticing smell now? I will try to get fragrance challenged fiance to try this...so innocent and unexpectedly erotic.
