Armani Code / Black Code by Giorgio Armani

Walked into a Marshall Fields department store today and was almost assaulted by a sales woman who desperately wanted me to try the "brand new,AMAZING! Black Code cologe from Armani". I had already looked at this stuff on here and other sites and determined it wasnt me but decided to try it anyway. And,well, at first I couldnt think of any reason why people would wear this stuff. It started off as a light citrus scent that wasnt anything special or different. Now, here I am a few hours later and I can now say that this cologne reminds me of something else. Once it has dried down, it smells like a lighter version of The Dreamer by Versace. It appears to be fairly long lasting because it has been 6 hours since I have sprayed it on my wrist and I can still detect it there. The entire dry-down process is light and non offensive, so, I believe that this cologne may have a use for those in a formal setting. One where a cologne must not be so strong that it grabs attention but must also maintain a sophisticated, decent aroma. So, if you fall into the class of people needing a cologne like that this may be well worth looking into, but, if you are a teen like me, you may have very little use for this light scent.

The Dreamer by Versace

Long lasting, light cologne. I'm 16 and I really have to say that even wasnít sure I would like Dreamer at first, I am very happy that I did buy it. It has a scent that has a certain class to it. This isnt anything that makes every one turn to look when you enter the room like sharp, bold fragrances do, but it does impress those who walk by or are near you. Still, I would have to say to other teens that this is definitely a more sophisticated smell that you cannot help but think does not really belong with jeans and logo tees.

Black Jeans by Versace

A truly great cologne. Before I tell you why that is so let me tell you about me. I am 16 and have just recently broken away from cheaper smells (abercrombie). This is one of four different colognes I got (the others are Dreamer, Acqua di GiÚ, and Escada Homme). Black Jeans is great because it has a bold scent that grabs attention (in a good way without screaming "look at me") while at the same time it has a sophistication about it. Its being discontinued is a sad thing but also insures few others have it. As much as I love it, I can also see how it might not be right for everyone, still, if you want a cologne with a mysterious, sophisticated scent, you cant go wrong giving this a try.
