Bulgari pour Homme Soir by Bulgari

Smells good... not bad, at least!
I don't like it just after apply, but some time later (one hour or more), it smells better. Reminds me Carolina Herrera 212 for men, but more sophisticated.
Lasts forever!!! You can smell it easily 24 hours later. Even if you wash you can smell it for a while.
Anyway, it's not my cologne, but could be a candidate...

Armani Code / Black Code by Giorgio Armani

At first, it doesn't smells bad...
But later, the lasting smell... something like vanilla, too intense... it's not for me.

My rating would be between thumbs down and neutral, but as it is not possible... sorry, thumbs down.

    Brit for Men by Burberry

    Not bad, not bad...
But too intense for my taste. And too much wood... it reminds me a carpenter's shop... wood and varnish...

Lasts forever! I can smell it easily 12 hours later.

Not my fragance, but could have been a candidate if i hadn't found better.

    Platinum Égoïste by Chanel

This is my first review... I feel I have to write it...
I never wore any cologne in the past (since I was a young teen), as i never found any one that i like enough, but... recently, after shopping some shower gel, the seller gave me a free sample of men cologne, wich i found interesting. That was the beginning: i began looking for info in the net and collecting fragance samples (basically, the most famous brands today).
I recognized most of the samples as I've smelled them out there, and found them from average to disgusting, to my taste.
But, when I smelled Platinum Egoiste... oh, god... this is really awesome. Never thought that a cologne could be addictive. Can't stop smelling myself!!! (maybe that's the reason after the name).
When you spray it, it smells rather powerful, good, but a bit powerful, but after 15 minutes, i feel i'm in heaven... and for the rest of the day! It lasts about 6-7 hours on me.
I'm sorry I'm not an expert and can't say what they put in there. All i can say is that it seems "floral", like roses or something.

Only one thing is worriyng me... I bought the Platinum sample by mistake, i thought i was buying the "original" Egoiste... now I'm waiting for the "original egoiste" sample to arrive, as i bought it in the net... will be as good as the "platinum" version? will be better?

Obsession for Men by Calvin Klein

It smells good at the beginning, but later, it turns into something like a carpenter's shop. It smells like some kind of dry wood. Too much for my taste.
Lasts for a few hours (maybe 5-6, on me).
    Not my fragance.

Le Mâle by Jean Paul Gaultier

It's a very original smell, i have to agree...
But that's the last thing i like of it.
Smells very chemical, mentholated (reminds me a toothpaste brand), so intense that you can get sick.
And the worst of all (the best, if you like it) is that it lasts forever. 24 hours later it can be easily noticed. If you wash, you are losing your time, this stuff is extremely sticky.

I even repent of buying a 2 bucks sample vial.

    Hugo by Hugo Boss

Not the smell i like, that's for sure.
Reminds me the barber when i was a child... and then i didn't like the barber, so, perhaps i don't like this cologne because of the association.

    Smells cheap...

Eternity for Men by Calvin Klein

    Smells good, but not enough.
Reminds me some kind of wood, but more sophisticated.
Doesnt's last much (4-5 hours on me).

Not my fragance, but a good candidate...

    Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche

I wore once in my teens, and back then i liked it, but not now, for sure!
Too powerful and outdated. Smells cheap for my taste. Reminds me a shower gel (i don't remember the brand...) but 1000 times more intense.

Dolce & Gabbana pour Homme by Dolce & Gabbana

I don't use to take care about the extremely negative reviews, those who say "smells like sewage", or "smells like insecticide", as i think they are not objectives... but man, now i have to agree with them:
When i first opened the sample vial, i thought it was some kind of bathroom cleaner in there. It reminds me a brand of window-cleaning fluid.

Fortunately, after a few minutes, that dreadful chemical smell turns into something softer an more pleasant, but i find it very femenine. Then, it reminds me the smell of my sister's bedroom when she was a teen!!!

There's something wrong with me, or maybe there's something wrong with this fragance or maybe both of us are wrong, but, for sure, we are not compatible!!!

    Cool Water by Davidoff

I found it too intense, and i don't like the smell very much.
Also, it smells... how to say... outdated, that classic 80's powerful odors! Not for me.

Acqua di Giò pour Homme by Giorgio Armani

Sorry, fellas... i don't like it.

It's a very popular cologne, and maybe that's the reason why i started hating this fragance. When you have to smell all day something you don't like much, finally, you hate it...

Just after spraying, it doesn't smells bad at all, but after some time, the remaining smell that lasts for hours... well, i found it very disgusting.
A work-mate wears it and some days, when he "baths on it", i feel nauseated (note I don't hate my colleague, so it's not like "i don't like the fragance because it remembers me that hateful guy").

    212 Men by Carolina Herrera

    Not bad...

Smells like just after shower... clean, fresh...
But I think it's not enough. I dont have to waste so much money to smell like that. All I have to do is just take a shower!
