Concentrée D'Orange Verte by Hermès

Beautiful..... very very very similar (in this extreme form) to Eau de Monsieur by Annick Goutal.... maybe a little more green..... Classic and mostly straightforward.... old world with a crisp citrus.

Un Jardin sur le Nil by Hermès

Was excited about the citrus and green... but is too heady and loud... almost synthetic smelling..... not for me. Swap?

Vetiver by L'Artisan Parfumeur

The best vetiver! Such a stong woody (cedar?) top note with some spicy greens, resins, patchouli, and herbs just underneath. Imagine opening a cedar closet and finding a the ancient treasure trove of an eccentric old gentleman/spriritualist.... among luxurious clothing and items, one finds exotic and rare incenses along side apothecary essential oils. Transporting. The best.

L'Eau de L'Artisan by L'Artisan Parfumeur

Beautiful green. Not overwhelming or synthetic.

Ambre Extrême by L'Artisan Parfumeur

Deep and intense. A bit sharper (geranium?) than the regular (if you can call it that) l'artisan amber. Long lasting.

Eau de Lavande by Annick Goutal

Nice.... but sweet and strong..... lavender.... and amber? Ended up not wearing.

Vétiver by Annick Goutal

A beautiful Vetiver that you will faintly and beautifully smell on a piece of clothing later on. Love.

Eau d'Hadrien by Annick Goutal

I am a scent fanatic and own many great/expensive fragrances. If i could only have one.... this is it. I mainly use the Absolu (the more concentrated parfum). Classic.

Eau du Fier by Annick Goutal

Bought at A. Goutal in Paris..... told that they will stop production of Fier at the end of 2005. Love this. Very spicy, earthy, tea, tar, and green. Mellows big time. Excellent!
