This is one of my very favorites. Rochas Man is a really well made fragrance which dosen't get the attention it deserves on basenotes. It's a great clubbing scent, hip & casual and totally different to 90% of the stuff out there (citrus, aquatic, spicy, woody scents).

For me it's somewhere inbetween Amen, but less chocolatey and more refined, and Hanae Mori, but bolder, without the fruit and less refined.

I've been told that it has some similarity to Le Male (perhaps due to the lavender and vanilla)but i can't detect that myself. The best part of this cologne is the caramel, chocolatey, coffee drydown which is really smooth and gives excellent silage.

It's warm, it's relaxing, the bottle is ultra-cool and i condiser this one of my better buys of a collection of 30+ colognes.

The only negative about these types of fragrances are that they can become sickly IF overused. I'd recommend this for evenings and weekends, not "the office".

This fragrance is very similar to "Le Male", i suppose one could call it a copy. However, this to me is a better scent due to the fact that it's slightly more subtle and definately a touch more sophistocated than Le Male without losing and siliage. Of the 20 colognes i own this is the most long lasting but it dosen't turn sickly on my skin as Le Male sometimes did.

The longevity of this fragrance is superb. The notes are "Zesty Lime", Bergamot, Lavender, Cardamom, Orris, Muguet, Orange Flower, Pimento Berries, White Musk, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, and Cedarwood. To my nose the most prominent note seems to be vanilla. This is quite a complex fragrance to me but i'm no expert.

It's unlikely that you'll enjoy this scent if you despise Le Male. However, for those who think JPG's Le Male is perhaps 20% over the top, you might want to try this juice as it seems to take the best from the aforementioned cologne and refine it a little without losing any longevity. Two sprays and your good to go for the whole day. Thumbs up :)
