Le Mâle by Jean Paul Gaultier
This drys down to Versace Dreamer on me. Lasts OK on my skin. Dreamer lasts far longer for much less.

Bulgari Aqua pour Homme by Bulgari
Fresh and clean I agree. Some marine notes to me. Doesn't last long on me at all. What a PITA it is to keep this bottle among the others, it takes up the space of 4 bottles since it has to lay flat like a skipping stone! :)
Nothing awesome here, stands in the middle of a large crowd of others that are similar.

Déclaration by Cartier
well I can see where others may get the BO reference from :) Actually the spice in this can come across in it's initial offering slightly reminiscent of BO mixed with something more complex. At drydown, it relaxes and blends together well and puts out a classic scent of a well made cologne. Works for me at work, dominates the room and is unique with no "BO" overhang.

Vera Wang for Men by Vera Wang
A more mature scent for daytime wear. Classy, not extremely unique but enough to warrant adding to a decent sized collection. More businesslike, works well in suit. Puts forth confidence to others in the boardroom.

Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentrée by Chanel
Not much to be said that hasn't been covered other than my newbie opinion. A truely classy scent, mature. Probably not the best for the boardroom as it is somewhat demure and slightly sweet. It lasts a while on my skin. More classy and refined, more elegant than Egoiste Platinum.

L'Eau Bleue D'Issey pour Homme by Issey Miyake
Comes out of the box fast! When a salesman applied this to a strip 4 feet away, it took 2 seconds and I could smell it's introduction already. Definitely need to take your time evaluating this one. Get a sample, give it a good 20 mins or so and reevalutate. Has a unique character and is complex, lasts quite a while. Can be worn by the 40something for work and not smell like you're on your way to the club.
