Chevalier d'Orsay by D'Orsay

This one's a hit! A warm, subtle gentleman smell. Very manly without being heavy or controversial. A sort of cinnamonlike spice to it wich a very soft base, without being too sweet. I find it to be a scent not for the loud youngster, not for the yuppie-go-getter, but for a real gentleman; a father, a collegue, a team-player and a secure, calm man who has found the real happiness and true values in life (no , I'm not getting payed to write this...) For everyone over 25 years old. If you want something other than cucumber, melon and citrus give it a go. You can order a sample from the internet shops, at least I did.

Havana by Aramis

It took me three or four days before I really understood just how amazing this scent is. Rum, pepper, wood, tobacco and citrus all hit you like a freight train at first, wich is a wonderful sensation when you've grown accustomed to it! Then the rum, spice and intense smoke make a little room for the berries and the hyacinth to make it less overpowering. The last stage reveals sweet honeylike tobacco and vanilla to sweeten the spice and rum a bit. The sandal is there all along in the background. You can really detect all these ingredients!! I do like compliments but this one I would wear even if everyone else hated it (wich is definitely NOT the case).
