Narciso Rodriguez for Her by Narciso Rodriguez

I tried the edt and it's not something for me. It starts out smelling very much like red wine, which is pleasant but might give off the wrong impression. Eventually it settles into a very strong jasmine-like scent. Over all, I can see it on some people, but doesn't suit me at all.

Habit Rouge by Guerlain

An absolutely wonderful scent. A perfect combination of tart and sweet, but very light, never cloying. On me, the citrus note is very prominent, especially at the start, not overwhelming, just elegantly refreshing. Then it settles to a perfectly balanced, perfectly lovely quazi-oriental scent. Though it is actually too light to be described as an oriental. I'm absolutely in love with it.

Champs-Elysées by Guerlain

Unfortunately, though I love most Guerlains, this one is not for me. On my skin all one gets is an overpowering, heavy floral scent. The lasting power is incredible, more's the pity for me. Washing with soap and water and then scrubbing with moist towelettes still couldn't get rid of the smell.

Black XS by Paco Rabanne

This was a pleasant surprise. I quite like it's combination of green notes (and I am not a fan of green notes by a longshot) and a very light and vague sweetness. A summer fragrance, or for days when you feel like an energizing pick-me-up.

Moschino Couture! by Moschino

A pleasant enough scent, though rather inoccuous. More floral than oriental on me, and the lasting power is almost non-existent. Not full bottle worthy for my taste, but certainly wearable for many women.

DKNY Be Delicious by Donna Karan

This scent is dominated by the smell of green apples. Not horrific, but then why would anyone want to smell like an apple? I don't see the point.

Le Feu D'Issey Light by Issey Miyake

A very light, pleasant fragrance. My favourite Issey Miyake fragrance by far. On my skin it settles to a nice soapy scent, sweetly floral with a touch of musk. It would make a good summer fragrance, or a discreet scent to wear to work. Subtle, without the aggressive greens of L'eud D'Issey. Eminently wearable.

Alien by Thierry Mugler

This has got to be one of the most unfortunate fragrances I have ever tried. Too much, too strong, too intrusive, too loud, too overwhelming. The initial blast of flowers is enough to blast you out of your shoes, there are no detectable woods on my skin, and the dry down is an extremely strong smelling (and to my nose revolting) artificial jasmine that bombards me like repeated blows to the face.
Unbearable. Shades of Giorgio! It's hard to believe that Mugler put his name on this atrocity.

Lolita Lempicka by Lolita Lempicka

I would love this fragrance too, but the anise ruins it for me. If it weren't for that discordant note, this would be a delicious, sweet, comfort scent.

Coco by Chanel

Coco possesses that very rare quality for an Oriental, elegance. Quite simply, it is a sweet, yet not overpowering and decidedly elegant scent. Well-balanced to my nose, nothing overwhelms anything else. Eminently wearable.

J'Adore by Christian Dior

A very ordinary scent, unremarkable in any way. It opens on an optimistic note, but then quickly passes through a brief floral/fruity stage and then dries down to something indistinct and powdery. On my skin, it fades very quickly.
