Black Orchid by Tom Ford

99% of the time this scent is wonderful. Its dark, chocolate, and hippy all rolled into one. I enjoy it greatly when the weather is cooler because when the temperatures are up, it can bite viciously (oh, the headache Black Orchid can induce). but, the joy it can bring is worth it. It smells wonderfully dirty in a rich, healthy, loamy sort of way all while smelling just finished up a sweaty romp in bed sort of dirty. yum. dry down is fairly simple, as as all the smut happens in the openning and middle... perfume's equivilent to having a smoke afterwards perhaps.....

Russian Leather by Demeter Fragrance Library

elegant, leathery, spicy, with a little hint of sweet (the tiniest bit).

a beautiful frag with quite a bit of staying power for a demeter.

give 'er a whirl if you like a leather scent with out smelling like a tack shop (not that that's a bad thing)

Dream Angels Heavenly by Victoria's Secret

perfectly everyday. very common, but pretty. easy on the nose, the best of the dream angles series. day wear appropriate. night wear... a little weak for the evening....

Rose by Santa Maria Novella

Roses. my favorite flower. this scent is all about florence and it reminds me of the actual farmacia in frienze. ahh... but this perfume is all about the rose. its the most rosy perfume i've smelt yet. and man, i love it. :-)

Gardenia by Santa Maria Novella

ah! green! gardenia is such a hard scent to do and do right. some are too cloying, some are too sweet, and some smell like socks. not santa maria though. the perfume is green adn white and hits the gardenia spot on.

L'Eau Cheap and Chic by Moschino

soapy. dark. bright. this perfume is such a mystery, but a pleasant one. its dark in some ways, but sharp and bright in others. but in the end, it is a clean scent that is soapy, yet lovely.

Cheap and Chic I Love Love by Moschino

a citrus! so much more fun than light blue, but still not as elegant as Mediterraneo. this is a nice day time frag, you can wear it to school or work with no problem, its unintrusive and but pleasant.

L'Instant de Guerlain by Guerlain

a modern floral, i think, but still lovely. its warm, pleasant in both hot and cold weather, and for me, reminds me of the one who bought it for me as a gift. it is playful, but it plays rough. not really for a sissy girl.

Amarige Mariage by Givenchy

a patchouli after my own heart. i can't stand angel, but i love this. on hot days, its moist and clingy. on cold days is where it really shines (shame its rarely cold in miami). in low temps, the perfume warms almost and transforms into a perfect day time scent that almost begs for a snowball fight with your hunny....

No. 5 by Chanel

a perfume for the ages. either you love it or you hate it. i love it. the history that it is wrapped in, the mystique of Coco herself.... #5 is all of that in amber liquid. it is girly yet not immature, womanly, but not old ladyish. our grandmothers may have worn it, but we make it our own.

Mediterraneo by Carthusia

Mediterraneo is the perfect answer when one is looking for a citrus that isn't light blue or i love i love cheap and chic. its a crisp fresh. every time i wear it, i can close my eyes and see the ocean from the stop of mt. solerno in anacapri or the lemons out side of pompeii. they say scents can trigger memories, this one certainly does

Blu Notte by Bulgari

truly a beautiful scent. the chocolate and the vodka wrap around you and blossom into a beautiful melody of scent. to me, the blu notte is best at night with a low cut dress, blue, of course, and a killer pair of high heels... of course the lady wearing such an ensamble very well might be smoking a cigar and drinking port.

Sweet Honesty by Avon

A lovely musky scent with out being over bearing. a great perfume to introduce a girl to the world of fragrence, yet still about to be worn well past the teen years. i've been through numerous bottles!

Maitresse by Agent Provocateur

somewhat dark, not but not terribly evil. supple. very sexy and warm. the scent clings to your body, but is still detectible.

Let Me Play The Lion by LesNez

lovely woody scent. dark, but not evil. almost, leathery. i enjoy this scent very much. :-)

Roses, Roses by Avon

I'm a rose girl, and this one is all about the roses. Its a powdery rose, soft and feminine. Good for the day.

Fiori de Capri by Carthusia

Beautiful. Just purchased this while on study aboard in Italy. It is a strong floral, but it is a lovely scent.

Fendi by Fendi

A customer in my store wanted this gift wrapped, and since it was open, she offered me a sniff, since I was talking about how much i adored perfume.

its a pretty scent: dark, smokey, full of insense, but not floral to my nose at all. however, it is not something I would wear. its too masculine for my tastes, as i think a guy could wear it better than most women could.

Apple Blossom by Avon

Very pretty. Soft, and clean. Its a shame Avon doesn't carry it anymore.

Incanto Charms by Salvatore Ferragamo

Oh! The smell of this one is amazing. At first, you smell christmas tree. and lots of it, then it gets warm and juicy and very sexy. The only thing I dislike is that it doesn't last very long on me. Alas, but beautiful none the less.

Champs-Elysées by Guerlain

Lovely fragrence. On first spritz, i could have sworn I smelt champagane, then it melted into a lovely soft foral, which to me smells very... round, if that makes any sense. Its not a hard fragrence. Very sublte, but still very there. Not the usual scent for me, but I like it. ^_^

Narciso Rodriguez for Her by Narciso Rodriguez

bleh. I have a sample of it, and decided to give it a chance, and I'm sorry I did. The whole thing smelled watered down, like it was trying to be a stronger perfume, fragrence wise, but was more like Coca-Cola once your whole cup of ice has melted. Its a musky scent, and it pretty much ended up smelling very... not good, lets put it that way, on me.

Curious by Britney Spears

soft, floral. works well as a first perfume sort of thing. Love the bottle. Wouldn't pay full price for it though.

Halloween by J del Pozo

Halloween, despite the oddball name, is a soft floral (i really don't get aquatic out of it) that seems well suited to daytime wear. Its rather feminine. I do get lots of compliments on it when I wear it.

Délices de Cartier by Cartier

While perusing the perfumes of NM (a dangerous place for fragence lovers... they have so many wonderful scents!), a sales man sprayed this on a card and handed it to me. I took a whiff, and immediately wished I hadn't already tried on two scents from another brand.

its fruity and sweet, and it seems to dry out to a more powerdery finish.

its truely lovely, and I can't wait to get ahold of a bottle of my own

Jil Sander No. 4 by Jil Sander

This is a lovely classic smelling perfume, at least to my nose. I've adored it since I was a very little girl, being spoiled by my great-aunt with the tiny bottles of it. A friend of mine finally bought me a big bottle for me a little over a year ago. Its strong, and to some it might seem better suited to the evening, but I wear it anytime I feel like having something sensual, but not sweet or overly girly.
