Trussardi Uomo by Trussardi

For all the Trussardi uomo fans in UK. It's on sale at Boots. I have some good memories associated with this one. Glad to say, it's still the same. Tall, dark and handsome.

Vetyver Lanvin (new) by Lanvin

I must admit I wasn't very keen to purchase blindly with the above reviews in mind, but I am glad I did. Refreshing with a strong base and definitely masculine. Stays mostly close to the skin and lasts about 4 hours on me. Can easily be worn in the work environment but I would prefer it outdoors.

Eau de Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beene

THE reason I was put off all aqua smells. God! I hate that mettalic pro - headache stuff. I could not go beyond the first 10 ml and had to give it to someone.

Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beene

Very original and very for MEN...boys and girls..dare not smell it. I like the top and the base notes best though..The heart is rather powdery. Lasts reasonably long.

Miracle Homme L'Aquatonic by Lancôme

A cottage by a river stream, somewhere in the planes of Punjab..the land of five rivers. Late spring/early summer...leave the window open at night and the first smell of the fertile land awakening to the warmth of the sun will give you a smell somewhat similar to this.
That said, I am not entirely sure a man should smell like this. It does let your imagination run wild though.

Givenchy Gentleman by Givenchy

An accidental find...after spending an hour at the counter and not being able to find anything decent, the bored sales man brought this out and it stood out and above the croud...wow! Now thats something different and interesting, I thought.
Unfortunately my wife and none of the people around me like it at all. And after a while, for some reason it has started giving me a headache, although I still like it and don't mind annoying the crowd around me.

Insensé Ultramarine by Givenchy

I hate all marine, aqua, watery, oceany perfumes. One, perhaps because in my teenage I was once persuaded into buying such a thing at a counter and secondly they are extremely common and indistinctive. Since then I refuse to even try anything sounding cool, marine, aqua etc.
This I received as a present and surprised me, probably because I didn't smell what I expected. I like the floral mix which actually made it smell fresh. I can understand that so many people gave it a thumbs down...and I beleive its down to the same fact, that they didn't get what they expected.
If you don't like the typical marines..give a try.

Paco Rabanne pour Homme by Paco Rabanne

Well! For some reason it always smelled cheaply fresh and I could never get this fact out of my head...never had this feeling that I smell great and that, I beleive is the most important thing...doesn't matter if u get a complement or two. Exchanged it at the first opportunity and never felt at loss.

Opium pour Homme by Yves Saint Laurent

It's defnitely not for everyone. And you have to be the type who don't give a damn about what people think about you to carry it aroud, because a vast majority will hate it.
For me, I must admit, the name plays a significant role in it's charisma. It's one of those fragrances you keep among many, for those few days when you KNOW exactly what you want to wear.

Unforgivable by Sean John

Yes, it is a familiar smell. In my country, there still are old perfumers who once used to sell flower extracts and smiple fragrances developed over generations..but times have changed and now they are reduced to selling home made imitation concentrates of famous brands. Some extremely good and similar, others just plain offensive. I am sure I have smelt this at one of those shops...an attempt at imitation gone bad. Unforgivable. (aptly named)

Essential by Lacoste

Well! I must say I didn't like the first time I tried it at a shop. Too much grapefruit. I am always wary of fruity fragrances - fresh at first, but soon turning into a rotten syrup and a long lasting headache. But then I received it as a gift, applied a couple of sprays and liked the initial freshness. Went to bed and the first thing I noticed in the morning was a nice clean fresh smell that made me smile. (I don't often wake up smiling on a week day).
I agree it's not a landmark fragrance, I probably wont buy another bottle but It's definitely enjoyable while I have it.
And it lasts quite long on my skin.
