Musc Ravageur by Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle

One of the most disappointing fragrances I tried in a long time. For all the hype, I am not at all impressed. Far too strong, dries down in a fairly citrusy musc that is strong but lacks character. It's too heavy from beginning to the end and definitely unattractive. It's the ultimate men or women repeller if you'd ask me. I wouldn't even dream to wear this on a date unless I really cannot make the person get off my back. Wear this smell and at least this problem is sorted:)

Dior Addict by Christian Dior

Got this as a present from husband at the recommendation of a sales agent (not personal subtlety, he is a man after all:)). Has a sharp opening, is quite heavy, quite on the bitter side, lasts forever (even after washing on heavier clothing items such as coats). Is quite love it or hate it and as a side comment has nothing in common with Addict 2 (who is on the fresher, lighter and more luminous side. More like an evening perfume though I guess there are few chosen ones who can pull it off on day time too (I dare think I am one myself, but that's a different story altogether):)

Cologne Bigarade by Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle

Well, this one is a definite hit. It is a very luminous and optimistic fragance without being sickening floral or sweet. It has a very nice opening and then it dries down gently and lasts quite some time on me, despite the warnings of previous contributers that it is short lived. It is a very elegant and one af a kind fragrance without being bizarre. It reminds me of nothing, which to me means that it's not one for the crowd but one for the lover of individuality:) I haven't fall in love like this since 'discovering' Un jardin sur le Nil, by the same Jean Claude Ellena who created Cologne Bigarade.
