No. 19 by Chanel

it's funny how different frags from the same house can do completely different things on your skin. if you, like me, smell like a desperate cougar at closing time when you try No. 5, then try this one. soft, subtle, and yet interesting enough to demand further attention. obviously not american. :)

Halston by Halston

I got this as a stocking stuffer just for love of the bottle. (And yes, I know better.) The mini bottle will eventually become a pendant on silk cording, I love it so much, but only after I use it all. As I can still smell the earthy refrain the next morning in my hair, God knows how long this will take. Yes, it is cloying at first, but put this on in the morning when you have a hot date after work. Wow. The 70's must have been so sexy!

Brit by Burberry

first, a disclaimer- i hate this fragrance. i would avoid the perfume section of stores when this first came out so i would not accidentally be accosted by a cloud of nastiness. that said; the bottle lures me in every time. this is a pattern with me, as i had that plastic triangle of liz claiborne in every color manufactured when i was 14. but that bottle! i may have to buy it just for that bottle!

Cucumber by Demeter Fragrance Library

This lovely frag is a bit too dainty for even everyday use as far as I am concerned. I love big spicy scents on my skin, as a rule. But it smells so clean and so unassuming that I go through tons of it...as a room scent. My living room always feels so light and airy, and people just relax the instant they inhale. Odd, I know, but worth it.

Obsession for Men by Calvin Klein

This is excellent on a man. However, it is rashly, deadly, excruiciatingly perfect on a woman. So much better than the girlie version!

Youth Dew Amber Nude by Estée Lauder

I. Love. This. My grandmother wore Youth Dew, and just the slightest whiff of it makes my mother burst into tears. This is close enough to still be lovely, but not close enough to make my mother cry. And yes, it smells naughty, like you should hide it away when people come by for dinner, just as I'd imagine a Tom Ford fragrance to be. Exceptionally bottle worthy.
