Truly Lace by Coty
I received this as a free sample when it first came out- very powdery and floral at first but dried down to a sour scent on my skin. The fact that the only compliment I got on wearing Truly Lace was by an older woman (I was 18 at the time) lead me to believe that not all scents are ageless.

L'Effleur by Coty
L'Effleur is well-suited to all age groups and seasons. This was one of my first perfumes and holds special memories for me. Very clean and floral without being overwhelming or offensive- not one particular flower note stands out- just a lovely bouquet! It is the one and only fragrance by Coty that I adore- even though Basenotes' information states this is still in production- every other site I have consulted claims this one is discontinued- so I will horde the 3 mini parfums I bought on ebay.

Bandit by Robert Piguet
Bandit is an attention-getter. I happened to discover it by accident and took a chance on it. I wasn't disappointed! The way I describe Bandit is that it starts out like a kitten (soft, maybe a little sweet) and then it's like a panther- sleek, sharp, can't-miss-it. I got compliments the first time I wore it. There is no other scent quite like it and seems to be lesser know. I hope it stays that way!

Ex'cla.ma'tion by Coty
I have tried to like this one, but it just smells overly sweet and cheap. I have smelled it on others and I don;t know if they sprayed too much but it's very headache-inducing. The only scent I ever liked by Coty was L'Effleur and that was discontinued.

English Rose by Yardley
A very dear friend of mine gave me this as a gift about 12 years ago. I agree with castorpollux, it definately smells likelike a fresh morning rose garden- though I can't smell any fruity essence to it. A very clean rose scent, not cloying in the least. Yardley perfumes are classic.

Tweed by Fine Fragrances & Cosmetics
Divine
According to the Vermont country Store's description of Tweed: "fresh top notes of bergamot, lavender and geranium. Floral middle notes of narcisse, carnation and jasmine with a woody base of vetiver, patchouli and oakmoss.
I don't know what the original (Lentheric) smelled like- I do know that the version made by Fine Fragrances is a delight! I am not overly fond of sweet scents and Tweed is perfect. I enjoy wearing on a cold day- has a refreshing bite to it!
