Pink Sugar by Aquolina

I am the queen of amber/sandalwood/vanilla fragrances and lately I have shocked my friends with my newly acquired taste for gourmands. This was an impulse buy off the internet (having never actually smelled it before. It arrived in the mail and I actually liked it! It is very powdery on my skin (almost a floriental!) with only about 10 minutes of hardcore cotton candy which changes into a flowery-marshamllow which comes to a smooth powdery finish. VERY interesting fragrance and I know I should know better with my fondness for spice but this is a fun daytime scent- very whimsical and almost immature but brightens any day- especially long days spent indoors. It helps me feel less serious during my busy schedule, almost an olfactory rebellion! Praise the Lord for the musk and wood drydown though, otherwise all I can think of is high schooler in a miniskirt wearing Rainbow-brand flip-flops debating whether Laguna Beach is real or not. I'd say try it before you buy it; I was lucky with the musk being very comimentary skin but you may end up smelling like Barbie. I enjoy it from time to time but it is certainly not a fragrance I could ever call my "signature scent."

Dior Addict by Christian Dior

I tried this for the first time in England this summer going out to a bar and it absolutely sickened me upon first spray but after 10 minutes it dried to a lovely, sensual, vanilla smell. Sometimes it is a bit overwhelming and it can get musty under a lot of heat, but I love it for night time use and with a sexy outfit. Sometimes I fear it is a bit mature for my age but I can't get enough of it when I'm in the right mood. It is my equivalent of a little black dress in a spray.

Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf

I love it in the bottle but it smells musty and unimpressive on my skin- like patchouli and burnt sugar. With different body chemistry it would be lovely. A must have for floral fans especially if you like patchouli but try this one before you buy- especially with the price.

Brit by Burberry

Very ambery and musky on me without being overwhelming. A lovely fragrance I can use year round- comfortable yet chic! It smells a bit like Coconut-Lime Verbana on my best friend and not nearly as pleasant so I guess it depends on how one's skin reacts to green notes and musky notes.
