I can only agree with the two previous reviews. Very refreshing vetiver at the beginning and slowly changing to a warm,slightly sweet fragrance. Excellent!

Or PuH is one of the greatest fragrances and I do not understand it or I understand this is not a great fragrance anymore. I use it sometimes but is to sweet and heavy. On the other side Caron is well known for its daring parfumes, see Yatagan. If you are for a fine lavender water look somewhere else. If you are looking for a surprise then try this first. You may love it. PuH should remain as an historical fragrance,untouched.And used.Sometimes.

Light,very light,for everyday use, non invading, not lasting, refreshing without needing citrus but nothing to be used after sport, non chilling. Quite elegant. A strong,quite character.Not overwhelming but present.
In fact it is so light that one bottle will last for very, very short time.
A nice b&w picture, a Debussy piano work,Carla Bruni singing,a stroll in the garden,nostalgic,unfashionable,an older Peugeot,a beautiful house on a hill,water.
I like it. It's a masterpiece.Buy three.

I never use Vetiver (the one I tried is Guerlain's) but bought a bottle of VE after having tried it for few days. A revelation, fresh and lasting, very pleasant slight citrus note. Quite dry, very usable. Other fragrances I used are Creed GIT, Creed Erolfa, Frederic Malle Angeliques sous la plui,Caron Yatagan and Pour un Homme. I believe VE could become a real classic.

Yatagan,possibly one the best fragrances I could buy. Top class,no sweatness,strong,lasting. I like the parallel with a nordic wood. On the minus side 1 spray lasts for hours even if you want it gone. Wear it carefully and it will be very rewarding.

My favorite fragrance. Very refreshing, lasting but not too long.Definitely not invasive. Citrus and mint, perfect for after work out. I bought a large bottle, finished it and will buy the second.Never happened before.
