Deseo for Men by Jennifer Lopez

Yes, Shaheen, I know exactly what you mean. This is all sweetness--and tobacco! It was too much from the first spray and that sensation never went away.

It's too bad that this is J Lo's first foray into men's fragrances. What a terrible debut. Even the department store display seemed rather lonely. Deseo had its own counter space, but it looked a little cheesy. And for a fragrance that was just released, the saleswoman didn't seem too interested in promoting it. My guess is that she had experienced her share of bad reactions to it.

Narciso Rodriguez for Him by Narciso Rodriguez

Others seem to think more of this frag than I do. The big problem: too much violet! I will admit that it's a complex fragrance, and it evolves and evolves...which I usually appreciate. But the violet was too annoying for me to appreciate this at all.

Diesel Zero Plus by Diesel

I have to agree with an earlier review--too much cinnamon (and perhaps clove). It overpowers the other scents and thus seems not as balanced as it could. I like spicyness and wanted to like this (especially given the cool packaging), but couldn't. Wanted to see how I would feel about it after a couple of hours, but I washed it off instead. It's at the discount stores, so maybe I'll try it again one day.
