Rocabar by Hermès

What a nice unisex scent! This is without a doubt, one of the best last decade colognes of Hermes I've ever encountered. Easy to describe it's a straightforward scent: Smells like tons of juniper stacked on top of vanilla... very warm, spicy besides amber dominate. In my mind a cross between Azzaro pour Homme and Creed Millesime Imperial, and perhaps a pinch of many women scents. It is masculine...it is feminine... it has a sort of unisex fragrances in some way. More appropriate for especial events, romantic or evening wear, fine for daily wear too. Works well in moderate climates and all textiles. Classy, elegant and exellent in terms of quality. The only negative thing about Rocabar is that isn't last for approximately 2 hour...no problem ;)

Tabaróme Millésime by Creed

Stylish, masculine and elegant. Tabarome Millésime is an absolute winner. The spiced citrus rings throughout and the tobacco is prominent too. Definitely one of the best hyped niche fragrances here in Basenotes... TM is an interesting composition. It is molto macho but not rich pipestyle tobacco. Yep! it's not a bad thing never, cuz this scent reminds me of a particular time... A time when I listened to Patsy Cline's "Three cigarettes in an Ashtray"... especially in GTA San Andreas! It has become one of my top men picks, and one that I suggest often and perhaps one of the discernible scent of the Creed collection. I actually wear this... it NOW sits on my shelf next to Silver Mountain Water, Tea for Two and Terre d'Hermes. Excellent winter evening scent.

L'Eau D'Issey pour Homme by Issey Miyake

A bona fide classic scent and certainly the best of the Issey Miyake main line. The master designer at Firmenich Jacques Cavallier has created something quite classic with this. At first its green and fresh and the soft woody undertone... oblige me crazyingly sniffing! Hummmmmm this is very nice scent. I agree resitantly it is a bit like Acqua di Giò... but I emphasize: "It's much better" It is type of the fragrant Giò, and ends light, subtle and distinctly green. This would be quite nice on a man or woman, but since I wear it I don't think it smells particularly feminine. Classifies it as a men fragrance so it should not be listed for women... although I can easily see women wearing it as well. Lasts pretty long and goes with daily wear. Highly recommended.

Rush for Men by Gucci

Gucci Rush is indeed a very nice scent. There is a fleeting resemblance to Azzaro Visit for 30 seconds and I don't think this smell has anything similar to Visit—it would be unjust to claim that two fragrances are similar... reminds me of Gucci pour Homme most of the time, yet I vastly prefer Gucci pH. Rush is thick in character with a smoky incense and rich woods. It has a lot of irresistible charisma, and completely unique fragrance which really does't reminds me anything else. It is the benchmark for Gucci fragrances. The cyber-shot bottle is comfortable to travel which is perfect for putting to pocket! Y2k symbol scents.

Lalique pour Homme by Lalique

A well balanced of variety notes... Lalique pour Homme was quite a surprise. Starts with rosemary, lavender and citrusy undertone, and dries very softly with vanilla, musk... and a bit creamy tone. Lalique pH smells old fashion... it is like some high-class old smells, but in a classy, worthy way. To me it is nearly niche fragrances, besides my four favourite: Creed, Lutens, L'Artisan and Diptyque, yet it's surpasses all other Lalique main line... Why? because it's my favorite to wear in office and especial wear, also in evenings. I think that many good fragrances have a lack of longevity, but at least on my skin longevity of this fragrance is amazingly good. Overall this one is a perfect scent, without having problems. It's truly unique and pleasant in especial situations. Lalique (Lion) perhaps is one of the best 90's and now I think it must be worn on a favorite overcoat or T-shirt! Great for all time.

Desire for a Man by Alfred Dunhill

If you turn a blind eye to "Dunhill Edition" you can't find any considerable thing in the Dunhill's collection. A garbage of terribly sweet / sour smell..strong accord—I hate lollipop notes in the opening, because makes me sicken. This one has a lot girlish manner which is created for teenager crowd. Nearly identical to Ferrari Black, they are both extremely fruity and strong, sour / sweet blends—it hurts my sinus! It's really.. really bad.. it's horrid! Forget it.

Terre d'Hermès by Hermès

Stunning. If it was the only scent of Hermes line, it would be enough for Hermes's credit. I like spicy / citrus quality, and yet it has amazing earthy notes as well. Terre is a regal melange of cedar, exotic mineral and tangy orange, and woody / peppery notes also in the second point—it has a sweet, sour and powdery benzoin finish. Lemon isn't in it' s pyramid, but I feel a hint of fresh lemon too. Excellent staying power and good sillage—the drydown is better than other scents I've worn recently. Now I say: "This scent originally created for ME" in my book it is one of the 5 favourites.

Silver Mountain Water by Creed

Welcome back! Admittedly the best of fragrances I've come across—of course besides: Daim Blond, Terre d'Hermes, Dzing! and Gucci pour Homme. Sometimes I find it an ultra-sharp refined smell.. musky with a tasteful and rich concoction of citrus and poseidonia notes. At times it' s compared to the other Creed's masterpiece Millésime Impérial—sure they are both citrusy, and a bit sharp, Silver Mountain Water however could easily be worn—if you have enough courage to tolerable the problem of being too much feminity. Bracing with fresh green and black tea and a lot of berries accord—balanced also with very subtle warmth of musk / amber aura. A Jack of all trades scent which is just especially choice of fastidious people and well suited for royal families, artists and many high class people and also, could be dream of common people! Ah.. Silver Mountain Water..since I tried it for the first time, recalls breezy fall days. The name is ummm very WELL—overall my feeling is "WOW" the drydown is sensual and somewhat feminine. It seems to last 7-8 hours or so several spritzes—lasting longer than other Creed's I've tried. Imperial, Classy and quite avant garde—and has a very well composition. Silver Mountain Water has a capability of these mentioned characters.. Girls love it.
