As I write this, I'm experiencing the last of my sample of No. 6 and I will most certainly buy a bottle in the near future. To me, this is a "leather" scent in the sense that I love to wear this when I'm wearing leather (and I ain't talkin' about sneakers, boys!). The fragrance itself is spicy, unusual, captivating and powerful...attributes that bring out the dominance in my personality.

I'm among those who have not been fans of Vetiver fragrances typically, but this one works very well for me. I received a couple of samples when I purchased Musc Ravageur while in NYC and boy, did I make them last! It has a real freshness to it without smelling like a mass-market clone (not that it should at this price point, granted). I find it vibrant, earthy and masculine without any of the "sour" quality I've experienced while wearing other Vetivers which shall remain nameless. And the longevity for me is almost unmatched. Between this and Terre d'Hermes, do I need any other daytime mainstays? Not for now anyway...Bravo!

I bought this at Barney's in Manhattan a little over a year ago on a whim and I am so glad that I did. Some call this "sex in a bottle" but I feel it's sensuality in a bottle...a great lover, not a tawdry trick. Although not for everyone (what fragrance is?) I feel it absolutely matches someone with a kind of self-awareness and confidence that exudes attraction.

I wore London a couple of nights ago for our company's annual Christmas party and it was nearly perfect for the event. We're an independent coffee roaster/bar with fewer than fifty employees. The way it flirted with other scents (candles, glasses of scotch, laughing people in party attire, baristas fresh from a day's work) evoked the holiday in a way that no other fragrance has for me before.
