I don't like it during the first hour or so after spraying it on; to me it smells like a characterless men's after cologne, powdery and too sweet. But after a while it develops and becomes warmer and drier. After a few hours it has a sexy scent of leather, spice and ink. It's ok.

Cedar, leather, beeswax and is it myrrh? Yes, this perfume smells like inside a church. It's mystical, elegant and sophisticated. Very original. Good news -it's not going off the market, but Zen is. I love Feminite du bois.

Finally a perfume that stands out from all the rest! Insolence is subtle, smooth and sensually laid back. (My brother associated the scent with that of smelly erasers which we used as kids; it was meant in a positive way.) I agree that there are no surprises on the dry down and it needs to be renewed
quite often. Wonderful!

This perfume is aggressive. I have to be very careful not to spray it too close to my face or it makes me nauseous...It's something I'd expect to smell on a business woman; it's not a young sweet smell but rather bitter and smoky. I got it as a gift two years ago and have worn it two, three times. Very conventional and boring, like Boss Woman but much more harsch.

I absolutely love this scent because its originality, smoothness and because it's warm, fresh and sexy all at the same time. Brilliantly balanced, like Chanel's Allure for men. Have had it for six years and I keep buying new ones, I never tire of it.

A well balanced, wearable and fresh day perfume. A little bit conventional but elegant. I'm normally a fan of spicy, original and oriental perfumes like Comme des Garcons but I still quite like this one. Perfect if you want to feel a bit anonymous and make a professional impression.

To me this perfume has a sexy, confident and very young but feminine scent. It's really for going out to a nightclub; it's too overwhelming to be worn in any other setting in my opinion. Unfortunately I am guessing that this perfume contains synthetic musk which may be one of the reasons it gives me a headache or nausea very easily. One spray stays on for days-not a good sign. I wish it would be a little bit less strong and aggressive.
