    D&G L'Imperatrice 3 by Dolce & Gabbana

Wow. Some of the previous reviews were really harsh! D&G L'Imperatrice 3 is certainly a surprising scent which may have caused the terrible reactions. Looking at the simple sophisticated bottle and light pink/lavender liquid inside I thought it would be a very grown up scent. On the contrary, 3 is like the little rebellious sister of the Dolce and Gabbana bunch. I would not call it a complex or extremely impressive fragrance but it is fun. 3 is a very girly fragrance (the fact that it may have been marketed to men is ridiculous to me) because of the fruitiness of it. It really reminds me of a shampoo, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I think it smells like shampoo because of the way that all of the notes combine into one single fruity scent which is not muddled, making it smell clean and refreshing. This scent is very bright and almost sharp because of how strong the kiwi and grapefruit notes are. For all of these reasons, this scent might not appeal to everyone, especially people who only love powdery or woodsy orientals. But for these same reasons this may be a great scent for girls not ready to dive into the world of Chanel or Versace but ready to step back from the Escadas and body spritzes in their bathrooms to try something new. It is also a wonderful scent for people who need a perfume that is cheery and energizing. It is currently the dead of winter in my hometown and i really needed a spritz of something that would remind me of the summer and wake me up. 3 did just that, it reminded me of the sunny days of summer while still being a rather wearable fragrance for the winter time.

    Love Spell by Victoria's Secret

There are very few perfumes that i simply do not like at all. Love Spell is one of them. Something about it seems to enchant the wearers (this is made evident by the fact that when ever i am in victoria's secret women at the check out counter seem to buy the perfume, lotion, body splash and every other product in this scent all at the same time), i must be immune to this something. I recieved this from a friend who not only owned it herself but whose mom also wore it with pride. I recieved it, sniffed it, and after writing a nice thank you note, tossed it. I rarely judge people on the way that they smell but this perfume is one that causes me to get critical. It may be the fact that it is from victoria's secret that contributes to this but everytime i smell it i seem to be standing near a preteen with a sparkly shirt on or a waitress. It is wildly recognizable because it just smells so unnatural. The fruitiness of it stands out and always gets my attention, so if you are craving attention, perhaps you might love it. otherwise, i would avoid this fragrance, it just smells a bit cheap. I'm terribly sorry to have sounded so nasty, if Love Spell is your favorite scent and you get compliments on it daily, then that is wonderful, i simply am not a fan, at all.

    Fancy by Jessica Simpson

I smelled this the other day because i'm always intrigued by celebrity fragrances and i wanted to see if ms. "is this chicken or is this fish" Simpson had good taste. I was pretty disappointed. while the perfume smells feminine and pretty nice, it is quite simplistic and it smelled very much like cotton candy. Does anyone know where this super sweet note came from? is it the apricot nectar?

    Nanette Lepore by Nanette Lepore

I was at the mall yesterday with a friend who has always loved this perfume. She had never bucked up and bought it but now sephora offers a roll on version and my friend purchased it. After smelling it on me yesterday I knew from the start that I am destined to borrow her roll on all the time.
Nannette Lepore is a beautiful rosy perfume. It is ultra feminine and is surprisingly alluring because of it's femininity. The rose topnotes stay strong for the whole time that the perfume lasts. The perfume is light and it doesn't change much as you wear it. the sandal wood takes nannette lepore from little girl's trot through an english rose garden to a sophisticated romantic's dreams of a time of innocence and little pink dresses of the past. All poetic imagery aside, nannette lepore is a gorgeous, light, girly, everyday perfume. Very wearable and it creates a aura of love and happiness around the wearer.

I was at my aunt's house and my cousin who is about 16 or so had this. very typical but not grossly tackly like I thought that it would be.

    Ralph Rocks by Ralph Lauren

I have smelled this fragrance once and that was plenty for me to know that it is not one of my faves. The kiwi is what was really awkward for me. too sweet and not recommended.

    Happy Heart by Clinique

I got a sample of this in a clinique christmas present and really hated it at first and even wanted to get rid of it. Soon I couldn't resist sniffing the cheerful sample. I put it on today and it was so much lighter than I thought it would be and it truly is a warm cuddly fragrance which I will probably wear much more often than I ever expected to.

    Amazing Grace by Philosophy

I have always liked this fragrance but never bought it for its almost old woman qualities. Then one day I put it on and I was like, this is so wearable, I love it!! Very light, fresh and lovely. I, unlike many others don't feel that you have to wear more than one spray, as people say "It is intentially light". Give it a try. :)

With Love... Hilary Duff by Hilary Duff

This is one of the most wonderful fragrances I have ever owned or worn. I love how rich it smells. It's so complex unlike other celeb fragrances like heiress by paris hilton or fantasy by britney.

I love the mangosteen in the top notes and the amber is so light but with alot of kick to it. I also love it because of its wearability, I got it for christmas and not a single relative turned their nose up at it. my mom and I both love the vintage gold topped bottle and the perfect amount that it sprays.

I totally recommend this fragrance to anyone over 13 and under 35. a great investment that you will love wearing.

    Bright Crystal by Versace

I really like this floral for its base and middle. The topnotes however are quite strong and I have to put it on atleast 10 to 20 minutes before i leave the house for that reason. my dad loves it and so does my mom. The bottle is gorgeous. be careful however before you buy it because it is so strong.

    Jade Blossom by Stila

I bought this on a whim at the mall and am really wishing I hadn't. It cost to much to give away but is too sweet and actually a bit odd to wear. I really would not reccomend it.
