Kimono Rose by Thymes

I love this scent! It's so feminine and sexy, rich but not too rich. I love the lotion in particular since this seems to be a good fragrance to stay close to the body. Too much oomph could make it almost heavy. What comes off of the skin is enough. I have not bought the roller ball but that may be a good application as well. I get compliments every time I wear it!

As they put it....
"Sparkling and lyrical, Kimono Rose is unabashedly feminine, beautifully layered with an undercurrent of intrigue. A sheer, sensuous floral heightened with effervescent sweet clementine and voluptuous cassis on a creamy bed of satiny rose, peony and jasmine petals…finished with a kiss of smooth, silken vanilla. Delicate but dynamic; soft spoken, yet striking, it is a modern reflection of who you are, and who you want to be…all wrapped up in one truly lovely fragrance."

Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf

It is absolutely amazing that their are so many people that are smelling burnt sugar and carmel and stuff....sticky sweet, sugary etc. WOW! I don't get that. I do like RoseAmber's review, that describes it with light citrus-florals and powdery vanilla, etc. THAT, I get. It IS beautiful. It's fresh and brilliant. I have such a sensitive nose and am not the biggest perfume WEARER, more of a hobbyist...but for me this is very wearable and soooo agreeable with my chemistry. So far, all have really liked it on me...even those who are not afraid to wince with disgust for other perfumes. Flowerbomb, who cares what it's called or how the bottle is shaped??? Maybe the reviews are so poor because of the people expecting a certain kind of fragrance and this not being that. People should just try it...I almost didn't because of the others it was likened to, so I crossed it off of my list to try. Go figure, I accidentally tried it and love it!!!

DKNY Women by Donna Karan

I smelled this on someone who works in surgery & said this is the least offensive frag. No one has ever complained, and they always do! I actually don't like many perfumes on people if I smell them from 2 feet away, however, this was very nice and agreeable. It was so nice it stuck in my mind as a "must try" for myself.

Amarige by Givenchy

I am very pleased to see that those who approve of this one caution against too strong of an application. Granted, I'm more sensitive than the average bear...but I sampled one small spritz from 12 inches away and it stuck on me like no other scent. Personally, I found it way too sweet and heavy. In addition, do think I've smelled this one coming in the door first at some point in my life!?

Angélique Encens by Creed

I received a sample of this and at first sniff straight up (I know, a big no-no!) I hated it. I dabbed a bit on, waited for a drydown, sniffed again and couldn't keep it on. Come to find out, after a 2nd chance days later and a lighter application and a longer wait period...I LOVE this. I find it to be completely delicious. It's rich and beautiful. I did like the middle notes and love the base. It's warm and melding and seductive.

Chamade by Guerlain

I give it a positive rating for the fact it smells well made and has a great personality. The beginning seemed harsh, however, it softened into a full and balanced fragrance. I like the vanilla over the woody notes. As a matter of preference, It's not one for me.

L'Heure Bleue by Guerlain

Although I love Shalimar, I do not like L'Heure Bleue at all. It smells like medicine, and I had to laugh-someone said "their dead aunt"...I get that. I gave it points, however, for being a classic and a cousin to Shalimar. There was something in there that I respected although I couldn't put my nose on it. Perhaps the vanilla. Also, it is clear how this parfume would bring forth such emotions & I was drawn into the beautiful writings about the perfume...I try not to read until AFTER I test. L'Heure Bleue is one of a kind, no argument.

Pure White Linen by Estée Lauder

I tried this and it just lingered...It was a very busy and loud smell that never melded into my skin, but hovered offensively. The lady told me it was Estee's lightest fragrance designed to reflect Gwyneth Paltro's lifestyle. I like GP, but I don't like PWL. It smells like cheap perfume to me.

Fantasia de Fleurs by Creed

Wow, zztop said it so well. I personally didn't like the opening however I loved the way it melded into my skin after the 15 minutes and landed a very agreeable fragrance.

Rumeur (new) by Lanvin

I received a sample at the counter and either I loathe the smell or it has gone off. Sour and rancid smelling in the tester and on as well.
