Acqua di Parma Colonia Intensa by Acqua di Parma

Between the warm climate here and my practice to apply fragrances directly to skin, the top notes aren't an issue for me. That leads me to the soapy, clean smelling mid notes (myrtle) that permeate the hour-long commute to work.

It settles down nicely into the classy, woody base notes that accompany me throughout the rest of the day. Perfect for those days you have to make an impression at meetings but still not bothering the office.

Silage is minimal and longevity (as stated earlier) is so-so. I still get nuances of the base notes after a 12 hour day.

    Kenzoair by Kenzo

This is my impression of Kenzo Air Intense. I get the cumin notes in the opening. The vetiver that comes next is soothing and not too in-your-face (maybe Kenzo perfumes work better on Asian skin). A good fragrance but not neccesarily memorable.

My only peeves are the totally misleading name (maybe KenzoDust would work better?) and the pretty but none-too-functional bottle.

cK one Electric by Calvin Klein

First encountered this in HK duty-free. Thought the top notes contained watermelon. Bought it blind a few days later and have been wearing it since.
Very fresh and light and hence, very suitable for the tropics. Not much of an impression of the basenotes though.
Would have preferred if it had a longer lifespan.
Exciting looking packaging but not entirely practical. Box & bottle are not lightproof so take care if you intend on saving this one for keeps.
