DKNY Red Delicious by Donna Karan

I just got a sample of this and tried it. It is not my idea of a good perfume. It smells to me like a mix between a watermelon and cherry jolly rancher at first, very sweet and a little tart. As it dries down it smells like watermelon bubbalicsious. Way too sweet and artificial. It is a cute concept but doesn't have any depth at all. It also has that cheap young mall department store smell to it that a lot of modern fragrances have. It's like the Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson of perfume. I usually like something a little classier with greater complexity.

Sicily by Dolce & Gabbana

I find it very odd that so many reviewers thought this scent was clean and soapy. I get a totally different impression when I wear it. It makes me feel as if I am exuding this smell from my sweat, like it is a part of me or my own natural animalistic musky odor. For this reason I feel very sexy when I wear it, almost like I am a little dirty from being out in the hot sun all day but with a remnant of ocean air on my skin mixed with some citrus and soil. It is really dark and sadly romantic but in a natural agricultural way (I'm not sure if anyone can make sense of what that means but it's the only way I can describe it.) Needless to say, I love it and will probably always make sure to have a bottle in my possession.

D&G Feminine by Dolce & Gabbana

I think this is one of the prettiest fragrances I own. I am a huge fan of soft florals and that pretty much sums up this smell. It is very girly but not overwhelming, it has a slight powdery accent on me that I think makes it ultra feminine and a little old fashioned in a good way.
